Hi Friends, I’m still having a blast here in LA for the Idea World Blogfest & Conference. It is my first blogging conference so I’m just trying to soak it all in and I’m finally getting to meet some of my favorite bloggers so it’s pretty awesome. Can’t wait to tell you guys all about it, but in the mean time II’ll leave you with todays post!
It is no secret that I love a good smoothie, especially after a workout or run. For that reason my smoothies are always protein smoothies. I’ve accumulated quite a collection of recipes here at HH so I thought I’d share them before it gets to cold for smoothies. I know it’s hard to believe but we are half way through July, the fall is in sight! Get those smoothies in now people! (Unless of course you live in AZ like me, you’ve got a solid four more months of acceptable smoothie weather.)
Oats & tropical fruit hardly ever get paired together, but in this smoothie they are a delightfully refreshing combination!
One of the very first recipes found her at HH but still one of the best! I love using the sweet tropical fruit to compliment the hidden carrots in this delicious high protein smoothie!
Beets are chalk full of nutrients that are shown to help improve recovery, especially in endurance athletes. Not a ton of people (except my MIL) like to drink beet juice straight up thought. Luckily beets pair well with the sweet tangy berries for a unique post workout treat!
If you still haven’t satisfied your tropical cravings yet, don’t fret this hydrating smoothie is sure to take you to the tropics in one sip!
This smoothie has a sneaky greens ingredient that packs a flavor and nutrition punch! So much healthier but just as tasty as getting a frap!
I’m pretty much obsessed with recreating healthier frappuccinos at home, this one is a simple but delicious versus using iced coffee and coffee ice cubes.
If you have any pumpkin leftover from last fall (because you hoarded it like I did) this smoothie will be an unexpected fall treat in the summer!
Or if you prefer it without the coffee, try this deliciously sweet version!
Secret ingredient? Coconut peanut butter takes this classic peanut butter banana smoothie to a whole new level!
Absolutely the smoothie that I make the most often. I love this flavor combination forever!
3 simple ingredients for a filling and refreshing snack any time, no protein powder!
An energizing smoothie packed with antioxidants and veggies that taste like a green tea frappuccino. It’s the perfect sweet creamy breakfast to help you tackle the day!
This smoothie is boosted with an energizing blend that helps balance hormones and promote energy!
One of the most common questions I get from Hungry Hobby RD clients is about what to put in their smoothies. I answered the question of how you can make a smoothie nutritious, balanced and filling enough to last you until your next meal!
What is your favorite smoothie combination?
