Hi, friends! Short post today! I’m just popping in to share with a smoothie I’ve been enjoying almost every single day for lunch. It’s super creamy, filling, and delicious. It hits the spot when I don’t want to stop to make lunch but I want to get tons of nutrients in! Sadly the weather is heating up already, so this cools me down in the afternoon when it’s already int he 90’s.
East coast friends, can you send some of that snow towards AZ? By the time it gets here it will have melted and just be a nice cool breeze, at least in my mind. Okay but, I’m not going to complain about the weather BECAUSE I restarted my favorite positivity book on audible and the first thing is to take 100% responsibility for your life. I guess that means taking responsibility for living in Arizona.
Yes, at one point we tried to move but the benefits outweigh the negatives so we stayed. It’s the choice we made, so no complaining right? I’ll just park my little butt in the pool, with this smoothie, all summer long under the umbrella and stay there until October.
It’s probably better than having to bundle 100 times to be able to go out and get the mail. Then again, I don’t really know because I can’t even fathom the cold some of you are experiencing (kind of how many of you can’t fathom what 120 degrees feels like.)Looking for a nutrient dense way to start your day? Yield 1 smoothie
Looking for a nutrient dense way to start your day? Try this gluten-free & high protein peach mango smoothie that is full of nutrients, refreshing, & super filling!
- 5-6 frozen peach slices
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 5-6 frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 5.3 ounces mango greek yogurt (I used chobani)
- 1 scoop collagen
- 3-4 cups spinach
- Blend all ingredients until smoothe and then enjoy!
Serving Size 1 smoothie
