You can’t see me, but I’m waving both hands in the air like a crazy lady because I love to grill (read I love when Mr. Hungry grills.)
Arizona is kind of a funny place, well Phoenix, anyway is. We don’t have sub-zero temperatures that prevent us from grilling, so we grill year-round. While most of the country kicks off grilling season this weekend, we grill a little less in the summer, because Mr. Hungry doesn’t always want to stand in front of a hot grill while it’s 120 out.
We still grill plenty, though. It goes something like, put the meat on, jump in the pool, check on meat/flip, jumps back in the pool, and repeat until it’s ready. It’s worth it because the deep smokey flavor with crispy brown edges is a flavor you can only get on the grill. Besides, when it’s that hot outside might as well keep the heat outside instead of heating your house and making your AC work harder. #adulting #adultproblems #iwanttobemykidormydog
