Hi friends! Mr. Hungry and I have never been super excited about going out to crowded restaurants for Valentine’s Day, we would much rather enjoy a night in. So I thought I’d share a round-up of my top dessert recipes in case you’re looking for something to help you celebrate with a night in!
As I was putting this roundup together I was scrolling through my recipes trying to figure out what treat I wanted to make for us on Valentine’s Day. I also did a bit of googling to see what kind of desserts the rest of the internet land had to offer. As you guys know I’m currently following a top 8 allergen (soy, gluten/wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, peanuts, fish, and shellfish) breastfeeding elimination diet. Searching for top 8 free desserts is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack, it’s not easy! Then I realized 3 out of the 5 of these recipes are top 8 free, plus the other two are still dairy and gluten free. So now I have a few options which is probably a good thing because I might be getting a little bored of eating vegan chocolate chips right out of the bag.
Anyways….. take a scroll and tag me if you make anything for Valentine’s Day!!!!!

That pudding sounds delicious! How long do you think it would stay good for? I have a giant carton of coconut cream at home left over that I haven’t known what to do with!
Kelli Shallal MPH RD says
Hi Carly! It should be good as long as the coconut cream would be good for. I googled it and a can of coconut cream is good for 5-7 days after it’s been open!
