Happy Monday Friends! I just got back from a 50minute walk with the pup, boy was it humid out! Usually I get all ready before I walk her then come home and change really quick since I don’t really sweat that much walking her. Today was definitely a different story, I got home sweaty and disgusting. Hopefully, I’ll have time for a quick shower, I’ll take the dry heat over this humidity any day!
Weekend Recap
This weekend was pretty low key, Saturday night I went for a relaxing walk around the fields near our house while Mr. Hungry and friends watched football.
She clearly was not to sure about our walk, but the view was gorgeous!
Sunday was full of good eats, of course I had to try out the gluten free pumpkin pancake mix from Trader Joe’s. I made half with flaxseed and baking powder and the other half according to the directions on the package with eggs. The egg version was definitely fluffier, but the other half was pretty hearty so I actually like that batch better. Mr. Hungry liked the egg batch better but didn’t mind the flaxseed, especially since eggs kind of upset his stomach.
We spent the afternoon cleaning up and searching for office furniture. Still no decision there but we got a lot of our wall art hung up so that’s a plus! We both really wanted burgers for dinner so we decided to go to Red Robin. I would have got a burger without the bun anyways but I was actually really impressed with their menu.
The chicken looked so good I had to try it and I’m glad I did because it was delicious!
That was pretty much the “weekend” since I’m only off Sundays but it’s nice to spend the day with kitty, puppy and Mr. Hungry. I
