National Caffeine Awareness Month
As I mentioned on Monday, you may notice me hitting the breaks with the blog this week in order to create a less hectic schedule! If we are friends on snap chat —> hungryhobbyrd you can follow the daily shenanigans of workouts, eats, my crazy dog and behind the scenes action.
Today I’ m going to leave you with this awesome graphic celebrating Caffeine Awareness Month sent to me on the Nutrition Entrepreneurs listserv. This is a group I’ve been affiliated with since I was a student and I highly recommend it to any RDs/RD to be that think they might some day want to own their own business!
100mg of caffeine can affect your sleep (and your cortisol pattern) —> reasons why I recommend my Hungry Hobby RD clients stop caffeine consumption after 2pm (check out my nutrition services website if your interested in learning more about the functional and integrative (whole health) approach I take with nutrition counseling practice. I also try to follow this advice myself by drinking tea or decaf iced coffee in the afternoon!
March is so many things: national nutrition month, caffeine awareness month, and St. Patricks Day, who knew?????
What is your favorite part about March?
Mine is definitely the weather, I’m soaking up the 80’s temps because before we know what happened it will be 120 out.

Loving all the Brussels sprouts recipes! My fave part of March is definitely St Patty’s Day. The kids and I go green big today: Only wear green, only eat green foods, only write in green pens! (

Great list of recipes to try out. Good thing we should be eating 4-6 times a day lol. Plenty of times to try various foods.
