Hi Friends!!!! TGIF right? Today I thought i’d share some of my meal from the last couple of the weeks. I just want to say I really had to refrain from calling this post Nom Nom 2016 so far. I thought it was a great title but I thought maybe everyone else would think I’ve lost my mind. Anyway I’ve been working hard at eating and practicing with my new camera taking pictures of what I’m eating. I mean some photos are still iPhone pictures, when your hangrey ain’t not body got time for a camera and a tripod!

Chocolate Protein Sun Butter Oats
A big bowl of protein oats a filling meal perfect for a post AM training session, or really any day! I posted this recipe on IG and you guys loved it! I also posted the full recipe and nutrition facts last night, check out the post here!

(eggs in acorn squash wedges), clearly I didn’t quite get the flipping down to make them pretty.
Plain Greek Yogurt + Stevia + KIND Protein Granola
Granola was on sale at the Hi-Health near me for a buck, so was the Hemp Protein I got for Mr. Hungry
Protein Chia Pudding
1/2 cup greek yogurt, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 1 cup unsweeteed cashew milk + 1.5T chia seeds —-> follow these directions to make it.
Egg + Canadian Bacon + Zucchini
Simple and delicious!
The week we got back from Christmas vacay I was on a serious green juice kick! Another IG favorite:
Ingredients for juicer (this is one I have), makes two mason jars full:
- 2 cucumbers
- 1/2 stock celery
- 2 green apples
- 1 inch ginger
- 1 stock kale
- 1 lemon
- a sprinkle of cayenne pepper in my glass!
High Protein Toast and Banana
I finally tried chompies raisin bread high protein bread. Verdict? I loved it, it was a little lighter texture than the super dense breads I would normally buy, but it toasted up beautifully!
Spaghetti Squash + Mild Italian Chicken Sausage + Marinara
I pretty much I had this every single day for lunch this week!
Zucchini and Egg Whites
And a TON of ketchup because i can not eat eggs without ketchup
I made a bunch of these and we ate them up for lunch, dinner, etc…
Mini Egg omelets with broccoli and chicken sausage
When I get sick of cooking breakfast in the morning or feel to frazzled I bake! Egg cups are my go to filling breakfast!
You guys know I was totally loving these last week, so much so I made my own hummus…
Cottage Cheese and Avocado
By far the most filling and satisfying snack ever.

A mix of sweet and spicy I ate this a bunch of times too!
Bananas + Peanut Butter or Sun Butter
Forever and always.
A light and insanely creamy vegan version, I ate this a couple times, but then Mr. Hungry chowed down the rest of it with bacon on top!
Your favorite appetizer disguised as a healthy dinner casserole. So delicious too bad I only go like one meal out of this because Mr. Hungry took it for lunch all week! Hey, if he is happy I’m happy I’ll just have to make it again!
This is probably the meal I’m most proud of, I will make it into a recipe some day. Shrimp + Mango Salsa+ Coleslaw veggies + sprouted corn tortillas.
*I don’t record everything I eat, I only take a picture of a meal once, if I eat it again I often don’t take a picture again. I tend to snack on things throughout the day!
Today I’ve got to call the vet and get Nala back in, I thought she was getting better but she is still sniffly, it’s been almost three weeks poor little thing! yesterday she literally tried to crawl on my lap while I was working at my desk. She doesn’t now she is 65lbs clearly….
I’m still a little in shock that dogs can get kennel cough even though they’ve been vaccinated, I feel like that is just bad luck!
