Happy Tuesday friends!
Some housekeeping before today’s post. Have you noticed any changes around Hungry Hobby? Like the addition of a store page with all my favorite products? Everything in the amazon store is something I have either tried and liked or use regularly!
Also, there is a new page under the weekly series header titled Weekly Meal and Fitness Plans. If you are looking for some easy meal planning inspiration definitely check it out! Now onto the fun part, the food…
Today I have a fun little recipe for you that I’ve been loving lately, Pumpkin Maple Coffee Creamer.
Last Fall I mixed plain pumpkin, stevia, and almond into my iced coffee (I used the Trader Joe’s Pumpkin so it was already spiced) almost every day. That worked for me, but looking back it was not the easiest thing to do. This fall I thought I’d make it easier on myself and make a ready to go creamer.
I can’t believe I waited so long to try it, it’s seriously delicious! Could you buy it at the store? Yes, but it wouldn’t be exactly to your preferred sweetness level and it would probably have a bunch of extra preservatives in it. This is one of those easy to make things you’ll be glad you took the extra five minutes to make at home instead of buying!
I’ve been loving it in my iced coffee, but I’ve also tried it in my warm coffee since it’s finally getting cooler in Arizona and it was just as delicious! All I did was blend together the following ingredients:
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 5-7 drops of vanilla stevia
- 1T Maple Syrup
- 1tsp pumpkin pie spice
Store in a mason jar or airtight container for up to one week (if it lasts that long!) I used about 1/4 cup in my iced coffee and a little less in hot coffee. I like my coffee more strong than sweet so you could definitely add more sweetener to it if you like yours sweeter!

Leftover pumpkin? No problem check out this pumpkin recipe round up or freeze it to use in a pumpkin smoothie like my pumpkin green protein smoothie or pumpkin coffee smoothie!
Splash some in your coffee to help fuel through this week! Let me know if you try it!
Love this idea!

oh yum. I don’t buy the store stuff after finding out how much junk was in them (yuck). This however looks so yummy. Really love the maple syrup

Momma S here…
I told Kelli once the Mr and I moved to CA I would have time to make more of her recipes, and so this past week I made two: The Pumpkin Maple Creamer and the Formulx Caramel Dip. Both were delicious and mainly enjoyed by me, Poppa S has an aversion to some healthy foods, he’s not as adventurous as I and that’s cool because it means more for me!
The caramel dip was so delicious and it had the sweetness that I love in caramel dip. I’m a lover of all things caramel so I had to try this recipe. I’m glad I did! I don’t think it’s wrong to eat it with spoon and nothing else, but eventually I did dip apple slices in it and Poppa S had some as well!
Thanks for these recipes Kelli, I’ll move onto main dishes and write about those once I’m off my caramel high!
Eat well,
Momma S
Glad you liked it! Ha ha your too funny
in love with this recipe!!!
