Good morning friends! How is life in your neck of the woods?
Things are kind of crazy over here. I think they are kind of crazy everywhere. KJ can't go back to school for a while since the day he was scheduled to go back is a holiday, and there are parent orientations. I'm in the process of hiring a new sitter, which is a process in and of itself at this time. Many interviews have been canceled due to COVID exposure or the person getting COVID. I'm working a lot at night and in the early morning. For me, the chaos of it all right now is extremely hard to handle. My mind craves organization, routine, and control. None of which I have right now, so ya know, that's fun. I know many of you can relate!
One thing we've enjoyed is super long walks around our neighborhood!
KJ does a lot more walking than riding nowadays, which makes our walks take longer but, it's also fun to see the things he notices and sees. Who knew someone could get so much joy out of seeing a bulldozer, or whatever the heck this thing is. Bulldozer? Tractor? I have no idea. Haha
Stay safe and healthy out there, friends.

I've been sharing some of my videos on Tik Tok and I even have some videos that were filmed and exclusively shared there. If you are a tik tok fan, let's be friends there! My profile could obviously use some love ha ha
Hungryroot
Hungryroot 100 and a bazillion percent saved us last week. This was one of the only meals I managed to snap a picture of but it was a delicious, simple chicken, veggie, rice, and peanut sauce meal!
Daily Harvest Bakes
Daily Harvest sent me some of their delicious new bakes to try out! These bakes serve 2 - 4 people and can be eaten as a main meal or a side dish. The perfect way to get your veggies in quickly with no mess and no fuss!
Fitness
So I got 3 workouts in this week and I'm damn proud. After a solid month off of working out (first we were sick, then I had a shoulder injury, then a back injury, then we had COVID) my mindset towards working out has shifted to being so grateful. Despite how hard it is to find the time to work out, I'm so grateful for the opportunity to move my body and get those endorphins going again.
I lost a TON of strength in the last month and that's disappointing, to say the least. After being pregnant I want to see my fitness level incline on a straight line back to my previous level, so the setback is kind of sucky. But, again, I'm so grateful to be able to work out.
