Hi, friends! I have over 500 recipes here at HH and two cookbooks, so that’s a lot of recipes. However, I thought it would be fun to share out of all those recipes, which meals make our weeknight meal plan on almost a monthly basis! Here are 10 healthy dinner recipes I make again & again.
I came up with the idea to share these 10 healthy dinner recipes the first week I ran out of my summer freezer meals and was back to cooking after having KK. These are the meals that I immediately put on my meal plan, and I realized they were my go-to’s.
These 10 meals I’ve made more than any other recipes on the blog because they are quick, easy, and both Mr. Hungry and I are obsessed with them. I hope these healthy dinner recipes inspire your weekly meal plan, and I’d love to know what your go-to recipes are (Hungry Hobby or otherwise)!

Healthy Dinner Recipes with Ground Beef
1. Paleo Beef and Broccoli
A gluten-free, soy-free, and paleo-friendly Beef & Broccoli recipe that requires only one pan is a monthly staple in our house! I make sure to put steak tips in my Butcher Box every time we order specifically for this recipe. It’s ready super fast, requires minimal ingredients, and clean up for the win! Lately, I’ve been mixing in some brown rice (in addition to or instead of the cauliflower rice) as well!
2. Egg Roll In A Bowl
This Egg Roll In A Bowl is a monthly staple in our house and can be made in less than 20 minutes, plus it’s great as a low-carb dish or served with rice! Perfect for a busy, healthy weeknight dinner! I’ve made it with ground chicken, turkey, or pork, but I’ll be honest, the pork is my favorite. Again, I throw in ground pork into our bi-monthly Butcher Box order just for this recipe! I often double the recipe so that we have enough for lunches all week.
3. Pork Carnitas
Chances are, if you’ve been around Hungry Hobby a while, you’ve heard me rave about this recipe. My Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas is pork butt, or shoulder rubbed with a delicious homemade blend of spices, stuffed with garlic and drizzled with lime juice, then slow-cooked until tender and juicy. Pork is pulled then broiled to crispy perfection for the perfect tacos, burritos, salad, nachos, or to eat straight off the pan! Plus, it’s freezer-friendly for the win! (I made this as a freezer meal for my first maternity leave meal prep and my second.)
4. Healthy Chicken Tenders
Another one I make what feels like all the time is my baked paleo chicken tenders! They are crispy, full of flavor, and SO easy to make! Dinner is ready in less than 30 minutes, and everyone will be happy! Gluten-Free, Paleo, Low Carb Plus, I now have freezer-friendly versions AND an air fryer version!
5. Tuna Melts
I have a ton of tuna melt recipes here at HH, including healthy tuna melts and tuna melts on English muffins, but by far, my FAVORITE tuna melt recipe of all time is my healthy tuna melt quesadillas! I made these a lot throughout my pregnancy and still aren’t sick of them! These healthy tuna melt quesadillas are cheesy, lightly crispy, filling, and a delicious easy meal ready in less than 15 minutes!
6. TJ’s Sheet Pan Gnocchi, Chicken Sausage, and Broccoli
Another staple in our house is my TJ’s sheet pan cauliflower gnocchi, chicken sausage, and broccoli meal! I’ve been making this for YEARS, and it’s pretty part of my staples shopping list every time I go to Trader Joe’s. This easy one-pan dinner is made with just four ingredients, starting with Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi. Tender, juicy sausage, crispy gnocchi, & crispy broccoli!
Side note – I’ve also been throwing cauliflower gnocchi in the air fryer pretty frequently as well!
7. Air Fryer Wings
Speaking of the air fryer, at least once a month, we throw these bad boys in the air fryer for a fun “Friday night” or weekend night dinner. They are good enough to not even consider ordering out if we have these on the meal plan for Friday night! (Whereas if we have something a little less exciting, we might choose to skip it to eat out instead.) I keep the seasoning pre-made and ready to go at all times! Sweet and spicy dry rub air fryer chicken wings are easy to make, crispy, packed with flavor, and perfect for eating with any dipping or wing sauce you love!
8. Chicken Shawarma Marinade
My absolute favorite marinade of all time is this chicken shawarma marinade for chicken breasts and thighs. This Middle Eastern-inspired chicken shawarma marinade is the perfect flavorful chicken for grilled, roasted, baked, or shredded chicken., although I like grilled the best! We eat this again and again and again in our house! Sometimes we get it together to make a Mediterranean salad to go with it. Other times we throw some foil veggie packets on the grill with it. Either way, between my MIL and I, I’ve bet we’ve made this recipe 100 plus times!
9. Chop Chop Salad
This is the oldest recipe on the list, but don’t let its humble origins of 2016 fool you. We make this chop chop salad all the time, especially in the summer! Lately, I’ve been throwing some chicken shawarma on it instead of plain grilled chicken.
10. Chimmichurri Chicken
Once I discovered chimichurri sauce, it was game over. This is probably my go-to marinade/sauce when I don’t feel like using the grill because it turns out SO well in the cast iron skillet in the oven. Give it a little sear on the stovetop, then pop it in the oven, yummy yummy! It goes great with literally every type of veggie ever!
