Hello friends! I know it's been a hot second since I got a Friday Favorites posted! I feel like I have been on a rocket ship since spring break and still haven't really been able to catch up. But I'm excited to pop in and share what's been going on lately. Don't forget to follow along on IG stories, that's where I'm most active with day-to-day real-life content. Happy Easter weekend, friends!

Deviled Eggs Post Error
It was brought to my attention that my deviled eggs post had a ton of errors. Someone asked if it was AI that wrote the post, which made me so sad, all my posts are written by me. I use Grammarly to edit, and when I chose "edit two spaces to one after sentences," it did something weird and created all those typos. I fixed them, but I guess it didn't save before the email went out. I think I fixed them all, if you spot any more in that post, let me know!
Easter Nails
I went bold for my Easter nails, and I've gotten so many compliments!
Whole Foods Order
Speaking of Easter, it's only our little family for Easter. My SIL is going to visit some of her husband's family, so it's just our little crew. Cooking a whole feast for just my husband and me, that the kids will only pick at, didn't sound fun, so I ordered from Whole Foods. We actually did this for Christmas, too, and it was great. However, ordering from Whole Foods for Easter brought me back to when we used to take Mr. Hungry's grandma there for Easter when there were just the three of us in town.
Baseball Season
The boys love baseball when it doesn't get rained out. I'm actually really surprised at both boys' ability to focus on what's going on in a "slower sport." KJ got posted up right by the pitcher (I don't know baseball positions, ha ha) and did great, learning to get the ball and throw it to first base. He got the weekly award for learning so fast. It probably helped that his coach was incredibly good and incredibly patient; turns out he is a high school coach as well. And KK loves to bat, but did well in the outfield as well. About half the Saturdays have been rained out, though, so that's been interesting. Next year I would do basketball in the Spring and baseball some other time. Still learning what it's like to live in Texas over here haha.
Lady of Darkness
I finished this series, and to me, it was very similar but not as drawn out as the Throne of Glass series. I give it an 8 out 10. Definitely a slow burn on the romance side in the beginning, though. (Link to my romantasy favorites.)
Water Days
Kids are loving the warm weather and hanging out, playing with the hose and the water table.
Bowl Obsessions
Last week I was OBSESSED with bowls for lunch. I had to share some of my creations!
Air fryer salmon bites + brown rice + steamed broccoli + cucumber + sriracha + spicy mayo
My Favoritee: Sirloin Steak + Salmon Bites + Cilantro Lime Rice + Pico De Gallo + Canned Black Beans + Cucumber + Avocado Lime Sauce
--> I could eat this combo forever on repeat.
Banza Pasta + Red Sauce + steamed green beans + Butcherbox Meatballs + Mozzarella
Ugh, I decided I really don't like red sauce, ha ha, but it is a bowl I ate.
Taylor Farms Chipotle Ranch Salad pack (used half the dressing, no cheese, and half the chips) + sirloin steak + cotija cheese + canned black beans
Fitness
So fun story, my SI joint is better but I royally pissed off my shoulder, so the last couple weeks have been no upper body. And I got some sort of cold from the kids, so it's been all about recovery over here. And to be honest, I haven't done the best with keeping up with vitamins, so I need to get back on that. Progress > Perfection.
I'm currently waiting for Mr. Hungry to get home with fish tacos, guac, and chips. Growing more impatient by the second. I hope y'all have a wonderful holiday weekend.
