Hello! I know that I fell off the face of the earth last week, but that's because I was desperately trying to finish my first ever nutrition course!
Why, after ten years of working virtually in the blogging/social media space, did I decide to launch a course??? Great question. It was after the folks on YouTube demonstrated the need for it!
Just check out the comments on this YouTube shorts video:
People are straight-up calling me a liar—without even reading the caption. 😤
My Story:
But here’s the truth:
- Metabolic adaptation is a real concept documented in the scientific literature on biggest loser contestants, bodybuilders, war survivors ,etc
- I ate 1200 calories a day for over two years. At first, I lost 30 pounds. Then I thought: Okay, I guess this is the number I have to stick with to keep the weight off. I thought, If I just lose a little more, maybe I’ll finally look the way I want to. But I didn’t. I just became a smaller, more exhausted version of myself. No muscle, no energy, no glow—just burned out.
- I only did cardio (running 2-3x a week), and I never lifted weights. I was sitting all day the rest of the time.
- I was under high stress in grad school.
The wildest part? I was in grad school for nutrition. And even then, no one taught me what was really going on.
All I learned was “calories in, calories out.” So when I stopped losing weight, and the scale started creeping up again, I thought I’d failed. I figured this was what I got for letting myself gain weight in college. I blamed myself. So, I cut carbs. Then, I cut calories even more. Each time, it “worked” for a little while. But every time, I ended up more confused, more tired, more stuck.
Eventually, nothing worked. I swear I could look at a cookie and gain weight. I felt broken. So, I pushed harder against biology. Which worked temporarily but I only became more miserable, needing to eat less than 1000 calories a day to maintain my weight loss.
But here’s what I want you to hear loud and clear: If you’re going through what I went through—or if you’ve already been there—you can fix it. Your metabolism is not broken beyond repair. You are not too far gone. It is absolutely possible to rebuild and reset your body.
It took me years to figure that out on my own. But it doesn’t have to take that long for you.
That’s why I created this course—so you don’t have to go through the years of trial, error, and frustration I did. It’s everything I wish someone had told me before I ever tried to lose those “college pounds.” And everything I put into place after having three babies!
Photo 1: Me when I originally wanted to lose weight.
Photo 2: Me eating less than 1000 calories a day, running excessively, just looked at a cookie and gained weight. (obviously, I was pretty underweight at this point, but my body fat percentage was still pretty high for how low weight I was. This was about 4 years into eating very low calories.) Every day was a struggle, and I couldn't understand why I was skinny but didn't look like I worked out or why it was so hard to just maintain my weight.
Photo 3: Same weight as the original photo, but much lower body fat percentage after baby number 1. Easy to maintain weight, eat over 2000 calories a day.
I got pregnant two more times after that and gained 55-60lbs each time.
And here is my progress after losing 55 lbs for the THIRD time after the third baby. Once I understood the concepts I taught in the course, I never experienced that frustrating plateau or place of resistance from my body again without knowing what to do! Now I'm working on getting stronger and building some abs, which, by the way, are made in the kitchen, but just like any other muscle, you do have to eat enough to build up that muscle first! My side abs always come first, ha ha
What is the Fuel to Fire Course?
The course is just $149 and includes 50 bite-sized lessons (2–10 minutes each).
Not every lesson will apply to you right now, and that’s totally okay. For example, if you’ve never taken semaglutide (and never plan to), you can skip that section.
The course is designed to meet you exactly where you are.
For perspective, working with me 1:1 for six months is $1,180—even more if you do sessions a la carte.
So, this course gives you over $1,000 in value for a fraction of the price.
And maybe even more important than the money?
It gives you the clarity, confidence, and compassion you deserve in your health journey. 💛

Let me know if you have any questions! Otherwise, I'll be back to normal blogging and creating new recipes this week. Keep in mind the program is app-based, and the app was created for personal trainers, but I used it anyway. Just ignore anything it says about workouts. Also, I have more things coming to the app, like recipes that don't make it here (think easy recipes I eat on a daily basis, like a salad pack with half dressing and sous vide steak!) I'm excited, and I hope you are too!
