Morning Green Juice:
My morning green juice has really been filling me up lately it’s kind of crazy, I’m not getting hungry till after 9am! This morning I was fighting the urge to ditch my brought from home breakfast for Einsteins. Then things got crazy so I couldn’t leave anyway, I had a DIY Starbucks Breakfast Burrito with a side of pineapple (we got fruit bowls for the monthly birthday celebration).
I can’t believe its already time to make more of those, I really do love this breakfast even if I was craving Einsteins.
Lunch came and went in 10 minutes, but it was a 10 minutes of pure enjoyment. I packed another BBQ Chicken and Peppered Turkey Bacon Salad with goat cheese, cranberries, and skinny BBQ Bacon Ranch Dressing. If that doesn’t make your lunch hour fantastic I don’t know what will. It’s sweet, spicy, smokey and salty leaving me totally satisfied and ready for the afternoon.

By the time I was driving home in the car I was getting kind of hungry so I had a half of a banana still left in my lunchbox. Driving and photo taking isn’t good so sorry no photo. When I got home I also snacked on some white cheddar curds, super salty and super delicious.
Paul had to work late so I made a nice big green smoothie for dinner and ate half a jar of sun butter. Okay maybe it wasn’t half the jar but it was a lot. I was feeling pretty sorry for myself about my hip injury and sun butter soothes my soul. I’d take a spoonful over chocolate any day, anybody else with me?
The color of this smoothie is disgusting but it taste like chocolate sun butter heaven so it’s pretty much amazing in my book, and it’s a nutrient bomb so close your eyes and drink up!
– 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
– 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
– 1T Sun Butter
– 1 large frozen banana
– 1 handful of blackberries
– 5 frozen cranberries
– TONS of spinach
– handful of ice cubes
