Hi, friends! How did your week go? Mine went okay, I’m definitely feeling like I’m catching up and getting into the swing of things. It’s just kind of a bummer that the only things left to get done in the new house are the things I use the most. Right now I don’t have office furniture, so can’t put anything away. I also don’t have a pantry or storage for nice dishes/blog stuff. It’s kind of a pain, but definitely better than living in a temporary apartment so I’ll take it! My question is, what is the deal with contractors? For real, all I need is a pantry put in and a cabinets/granite in the dining room. The dining room has a little design element to it so I guess it’s more complicated (thank you Pinterest.) I STILL HAVEN’T EVEN GOT ONE QUOTE. TRUST ME THAT IS NOT BECAUSE I HAVEN’T TRIED. Twice, I’ve talked to extremely rude contractors, if they were rude now I assumed they’d continue to be so I declined their services. I’ve had two people come out and I’m still waiting on the quote. I know good things come to those who wait, but if you haven’t noticed, patience is not something I possess.
Anyways, it’s a quick post today, I’ve got a workout scheduled, a business admin day planned, a recipe to shoot, and errands to do before things close for the weekend! I’m sure you are in the same boat! I kind of keep forgetting about the three day weekend because I don’t have anything special planned and I still got to get stuff done on Monday. I’m not complaining though, last Friday I had a terrible migraine and slept all day. I didn’t have to call a boss or risk losing my job to get the sleep I needed. I know I make trade offs to work from home, mostly for myself. It’s all good because in the end I love what I do and that’s worth working every day for.

Day of Eats
This week I recorded most of my eats on Tuesday! Next week I’m really going to try to record more meals on IG stories so I can share here! The day started off with loaded peanut butter oatmeal, my favorite pre workout meal.
I went to orange theory at 9 am, after I had a protein shake with 3/4 scoopvanilla SFH protein powderand 1 banana (ate that separate.) I had a meeting so I didn’t eat lunch till I got back which was around 1:30 pm. Lunch was leftovers of turmeric cauliflower rice plus Monday nights stir fry which had leftover chicken and trip tip in it.
For a filling snack, I had my favorite way to eat cottage cheese, with plantain chips!
For dinner, I had salmon with everything but the bagel seasoning and frozen grilled cauliflower.
Dessert was a handful of dark chocolate salted almonds, having Trader Joe’s this close is so great and so dangerous!

Hi Kelli! Happy Friday! Ohhh that transition period during a move is tough. Hope you get things all figured out and set up soon. As far as your eats — I seriously can’t get enough cottage cheese, and pairing it with plantain chips sounds delish! Crunchy with soft hehehe! Thanks SO much for sharing my post about motivating people too. Enjoy your weekend and busy day! 🙂
