Hello friends! Happy Friday, late Friday, man I get later and later posting these posts!
We’ve been enjoying the cool weather here, man it’s so nice to be pregnant, and it is not 200 degrees outside (which is how it feels when it’s 100 degrees and your pregnant.) I’d take a healthy baby and pregnancy any time of the year, but it is nice to experience a winter/spring 2nd and 3rd trimester versus an all summer 2nd and 3rd trimester. I know I’ll pay for it when the only time to walk Nala, a newborn, and a toddler is at 5 AM this summer, but for now, it’s nice!
I’ve got a lot of end of the year grading to do this weekend, along with a few other things I need to get caught up on, so nothing too exciting going on. However, I’m excited for my weekend to free up in the future and spend more quality time with the family during the weekend since I finally found a sitter for a few afternoons each week.
Short weekly wrap up this week because it’s already so late in the day, I’m sure you don’t want a novel! Le’ts do the Friday Favorites thing!
I said I wouldn’t do it…
I said I wouldn’t do it, but I broke down and did it. I thought having a toddler, and a Christmas tree would be too much, and it is, but I did it anyway!

Advent Study – Blessed Is She
I’ve been doing this Advent study every morning, and I really like the beauty and simplicity of it. It has written pieces every other day and readings on the other day.

Expecting and Empowered Program
I’ve been doing about 3-4 workouts per week, usually 3 strength workouts from the Expecting and Empowered program and one cardio workout from Aaptiv, which is going really well! I’d been following the girls over on the E&E Instagram account for a while and was about to purchase their program when they reached out and offered to send it to me for free.
I’m thinking about doing an entire blog post about it vs. the Aaptiv Maternity program. So that’s all I will say for now!
