Hi, friends! How has your week gone? Mine has been rolling along so fast. I can’t believe Christmas is almost here! There is still so much to do, ahhhh! I’m so thankful that Baby K is still a baby and doesn’t know what’s going on so, there is less pressure!
Tomorrow we are going to the zoo and then hanging out with some friends. I also have a Christmas party for a PT clinic I contract with. Then, my SIL and nephew gets in on Monday. I love this time of year, it’s busy, but it’s fun!
I’ve been playing around with my new lens filming recipe videos. I was previously outsourcing them to a professional videographer, but now I’m working on learning to do them myself. For those of you who aren’t bloggers, video does the best on all social platforms and having a video in your post can boost how close to the top you show up in google search results. So, it’s time for me to finally bite the bullet and learn how to make them!
The first one I did is in the oven-fried chicken tenders post. It’s not great, but either was my photography when I first started. I haven’t decided, but I might take a break from recipe development for the next few weeks to film videos for some of my more popular recipes.

I am NOT a coupon clipper. I don’t sift through the newspaper looking for the sales and clip coupons. I wish I did because you can save a ton of money that way. I just found out that you can digitally clip coupons on the Sprouts Mobile App, now that’s couponing I can get into!
This popcorn was featured on the app coupon, which I promptly downed an entire bag in two days. I swear I can not be trusted around popcorn!
Good news! I’ve been working out somewhere other than home.
Bad news – Baby K hates the gym daycare, at least so far.
So far, I’m loving Burn Boot Camp workouts. They program exactly like I’ve been programming for myself. Not too much cardio, split upper/lower days, etc. But, so far, Baby K is not loving being left in daycare. I’ve been told my other moms that it will take a week or two for him to get used to it. Luckily I’m on a two-week trial right now, but I’m not sure if I should sign up. He’s pretty hysterical when I go get him.
I’m hoping to share some of the workouts with you guys, but I’ve been so focused on making sure the Baby was okay I kept forgetting to take photos of the workout boards! Next week!
