Hi Friends! Yesterday I woke up super late, I slept 9 hours! Isn’t that insane? Considering I’m usually good on 7, 9 hours seems insane, I guess my body needed it! …. When I finally did get up I went on a run and boy did it feel good. Every time I go out running I feel so blessed to be able to do so after battling my hip injury for so long, I truly feel amazing when I get the opportunity to go out for a run no matter how long or short, especially outside! I did some walk/running with uphill sprint work which was killer and felt great!
After I got home I did some core work and then made a smoothie.
Smoothies taste so much better after a run, no doubt about that one!
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop Vanilla Protein (I used Thorne Whey Isolate)
- 1 cup organic frozen berries
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 handful of spinach
- 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
- 1 scoop fibermend
- 1 tsp glutamine
- 1 cup ish of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 4-5 ice cubes
- 5-6 drops vanilla sweetleaf (stevia drops)
Directions:
Blend and enjoy!
