Meal plan friends, your new meal plan is live! Enjoy!
I didn’t record my meals this week, but I did post a full day of eats yesterday!
Zulay’s Milk Frother Giveaway
The awesome folks at Zulay’s Kitchen offered to host a giveaway for Hungry Hobby readers for one of their milk frothers. They sent me one and this little thing is tiny but mighty. It’s so much fun to have foamy milk in my morning coffee. And yes, it works with non-dairy milk, even watery almond milk!
If you are like me and strickly drinking iced coffee, you can also use it to mix any kind of powder into liquid (like an immersion blender. ) I’m going to remember these this holiday season, they make such cute inexpensive gifts! Enter the giveaway below to win one for yourself!!
I’ll announce the winner in next week’s Friday Favorites post.
I don’t think I’ve shared about this clip on fan I use on the stroller for our morning walks yet. The battery life isn’t great on it, lasts at full blast about 120 minutes (or about 3 walks). That isn’t a big deal to me though, I just stick it on the charger when I get home.
Favorites Around the Web:
So this week I didn’t feel like planning my own workouts. Sometimes I overthink workouts and it takes me forever to plan them. I get better results when I plan my own workouts vs. doing random plans I do online, but I didn’t feel like investing the time this week.
Ya, I paid for that. A couple of my workouts I loved, and I got to try out new moves that I can continue to incorporate. A couple of them left me feeling blah, like what was that? Was that even a workout? Oh, well. Here is to next week!
Fri (8/2)- Aaptiv
I liked this workout, but the rest periods were too long for me, so I didn’t feel like balls to the wall amazing after. I can’t find the name of it, but it sucked anyway.
Sat (8/3)- PaleOMG Treadworkout (it’s on her Instagram)
Sun (8/4) – Aaptiv Train Like A Beast
The workout was timed, but I adapted to a rep scheme to share with you guys.
Each set x 3
- 10 Squats (35, 40, 45)
- 15 BO rows (40)
- 12 Military Presses (30)
- 15 Sumo Squat (#45)
- 8 Chest Press (#60)
- Pull Downs (subbed for upright rows)- purple band
Set 3 – I significantly changed this set, I don’t remember what it was originally.
- Bicep 21’s
- 10 lat raises (#20)
- 20 tricep extensions (#25)
Mon (8/5) – OFF
Tues (8/6)- PaleOMGLegWorkout (still my favorite workouts)
Wed (8/7) – crappy workout not even worth recording
Thurs (8/8) – OFF
Yummmmmmmm, this is still one of my favorite recipes of all time. These oatmeal crusts are delicious! You can also use them for savory toppings if you skip the stevia when you make them!
Okay, I know everything is y favorite but we make this chicken every month, the marinade is DELICIOUS. The marinade is also in my list of 8 Paleo Marinade recipes. The salad that goes with this is lick the bowl good. Like lick, the bowl, scoop out every last morsel with your fingers kind of good. I don’t make it super often because there is a lot of chopping and ingredients, but it’s worth it if you’re up for a little more effort. IT’S SO GOOD!
