Well hello out there internet friends, I hope everyone is excited for the weekend!
First up! If you haven’t entered the Instant Pot Giveaway you better do so today, this is the LAST day! Winner will be announced this weekend!
I think I might try to get some hiking in before it’s blazing hot, like too hot to go outside. I’m gonna be making some banana walnut quinoa bars since Mr. Hungry needs breakfast and I need to update the photos. One of my friends asked to commandeer my pool so that will be happening. Just the usual, basically.
Friday (3/30) – OFF
Saturday (3/31) – Ran about 3 miles of walk/running in the AM without Nala so I took her to the dog park.
Sunday (4/1) – Easter no workout, took Nala on a walk
Monday (4/2)- Walked Nala 45 minutes then did this workout.
Tuesday (4/3) – OFF
Wednesday (4/4) – I walked Nala 2.5 miles in the AM. In the PM I was in the middle of this awesome glute workout when I realized I forgot I had bible study. WHOOPS so needless to say I didn’t finish it!
Thursday (4/5) – walked 3.5 miles with the pup and did this workout
I did a better job at sharing some of my eats on Instastories, but failed at taking actual pictures! Last weekend we did have pizza the size of our head, for real! It took me three meals to eat it all ha ha!
Fairlife Chocolate Milk
It has 13 grams of protein and only 13 grams of sugar! It’s definitely a chocolate milk win! The downside is that it’s literally six bucks a carton, but worth it if you are a chocolate milk lover!
My SIL sent me this podcast and I LOVED it. Yes, I am an only child but I don’t’ think the episode is just for only children only. If you have an only child, are an only child, or ever interact with one this is a great and entertaining listen.
So many good nuggets and hysterical truth. Forwarning, the first couple minutes are a weird advertisement which confused me, just go ahead to the 3-minute mark. Forewarning #2, it may have inspired a blog post coming your way soon.

So my friend Tina wrote about When You Feel Like A Bad Mom which was amazing and uplifting to all the other mamas out there. Read the post, but don’t miss the comments. Mom shame is everywhere and it’s not cool people and know that if you troll others who are trying to uplift others, people are gonna come for you. Oh and that’s exactly what happened here!
And my friend shared this post on her Instastorie in response: How to Build Other Women Up
