Hi friends!
What are your weekend plans? We’re having friends over for the Superbowl and planning to make that Pork Bahn Mi again because that was BOMB. Plus, we will make some mini hot dogs from Butcher Box.
The kids have their sports class on Saturday, and Mama has a hair appointment. Plus, we must prepare the Valentine’s to pass out in class on Monday. Busy but fun weekend ahead! I’m looking forward to this week as the last weekend that I feel I can delay all the starting to get ready to have another baby things. Pulling boxes out, building swings, bassinets, and whatever else, like prepping breast pump equipment…. so many things to do. But, I feel like I can delay those things until I’m in the 30’s weeks pregnant range. haha
I hope you have a fun weekend filled with delicious food, and I hope your team wins. I have zero ideas who is even playing. Okay BYYYYYEEEEEEEE friends!

Here are some posts you may have missed on the blog the last week:

Butcherbox Restock!
I love when we get a new ButcherBox. One box lasts about 2-3 months, so restocking is always fun. (I get a custom box and add a bunch of member deals.) It’s one of the primary ways I can keep varied meals so often. Having a variety of cuts in the freezer I can base my meals around keeps me from buying the same cuts over and over and over again from the store. I can’t wait to try the premade meatballs and the corned beef! We’ve never gotten those before. Okay, I don’t like corned beef despite being 99% Irish according to 23 and me, but Mr. Hungry does!

We have two fridges, one in our garage to put bulk foods and drinks in. I kind of want to get one of those vertical Costco freezers!
Gyro Salads – King Gyro
Pretty much the only salad this preggo lady will eat. And when I eat it, I DEVOUR it. Our go-to in Chandler is King Gyro or Supreme Shawarma.
Odyssey Aquarium
We took the kids to the aquarium over the weekend; of course, they LOVED it. I hadn’t been in a few months, and it was adorable to see KK and KJ share the experience together. I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I LOVE the aquarium for an activity for the kids. Although I don’t think I would attempt it right now by myself pregnant, mostly since I move slowly and have randomly occurring ab issues. But I think I would attempt it with the boys and the baby this summer because it’s really not overwhelmingly big, but there are tons of exhibits. The kids love it. It’s air-conditioned, it’s enclosed, and the parking is manageable.
On the other hand, the Phoenix zoo is HUGE, the parking lot is HUGE, you often have to park six miles away unless you can be there at opening, you are at the mercy of the weather and the bees, and it just feels overwhelming. I’m always so grateful for the ease of the aquarium. As the kids get older and I’m not pregnant, I’m sure the zoo will feel more manageable, but for now, I’m so thankful for this fun experience for the kids. Highly recommend!
Morning Brother Time
KJ used to go bulldozing into KK’s room, scaring the crap out of the poor baby and making for a meltdown morning. But fast forward, and KK LOVES to see KJ bulldoze through the room. They love their brother time in the morning, and one of their favorite new pastimes is finding every single stuffed animal to put in KKs crib. Since our plan is to move the boys into sharing a room together a couple of months after the baby girl arrives, it’s really nice to see them enjoying time together more and more.
Fitness
Each week is an adventure when your this pregnant ha ha. Despite last week not being so great with ab pain, this week I was able to get two workouts in so far and hoping to get one more this weekend! Still walking 2-4 times a week as well!
