Good morning friends! I’m off to my 37-week doctor’s appointment this morning, so a short intro! Things are starting to feel like the real deal over here. If I had to say, I’d guess the baby has dropped because I’ve noticed a change in the shape of my stomach – more teardrop and less basketball-shaped, lower movements, and better breathing! All good things!
This weekend I’m hoping to shoot a recipe or two and hang out with my two favorite guys and my two favorite ladies (Nala and Missy)! I REALLY wish our dresser for the baby’s room came this week, but it looks like it might not be here till next weekend. Kind of like the baby, it is what it is. I don’t have any control over when it comes (the dresser or the baby.) haha, Have a wonderful weekend, friends! Have a fully caffeinated iced coffee in the morning and an ice-cold cocktail for me in the evening (if your into that sort of thing.)
In case you missed it this week:
This Week’s Food Favorites
Sushi
I’m definitely missing raw sushi recently, but as always our go-to sushi place hit the spot last weekend.
Hungryroot Delivery
Dinner time over here has been a bit of a crapshoot over here, so once we got through most of Butcher Box meat I pushed back our next BB delivery to June and restarted our Hungryroot subscription. I couldn’t be more thankful for their easy, healthy, and tasty meals.
So far this week we’ve had pork carnitas tacos –>
It came with the corn tortillas, veggie mix, green chile sauce, and pork carnitas.
Not as good as my carnitas, but pretty damn good! haha Anyways, I added black beans, cheese, and sour cream to stretch the meal which made a total of 12 tacos!
Last night we had chicken tahini wraps which came with wraps, chicken, lemon tahini sauce, and a veggie mix.
I added canned navy beans to the wraps.
Favorites
So after an unfortunate water accident and pulling out the stove to clean behind it, I promptly ordered these silicone counter gap covers. They work great and definitely reduce the number of crumbs, liquid, and grease falling between the counter and stove crack! Luckily, our stove is black, so you can barely tell they are there!
Fitness
30-40 minute walks every day! It’s only in the 70s when we walk in the morning, but it easily feels upper 80s to prego. I don’t know how I survived a whole summer uber pregnant with KJ!
