Happy almost weekend! It’s been a good week over here, I can’t complain! Baby K and I have plans with friends later today, and tomorrow night, we are doing family photos! Nerissa did such a great job on our newborn photos I decided to see if she could squeeze in for family photos. She was booked every weekend, but this weekend so we are making it happen. Other than that, it’s the standard work, weekend juggle. #workfromhomelife
Speaking of that, I have some things I need to catch up on, so my MIL and I are having a working wine night tonight while Mr. Hungry and his Dad see Joker. I mean I’m going to work, she is going to read or cross-stitch, but the company will be nice! I wanted to see Joker, but it also looks scary, and I’m not a fan of making myself have nightmares for a week. Have you seen it? Is it scary? What do you have on your weekend plans?

So I didn’t take any pictures of my food this week, because, honestly, my meals have been a little chaotic. I ran out of SmoothieBox smoothies, so I grabbed a couple of Health Warrior protein muffins at Sprouts Farmers Market. I topped them with peanut butter and a half of a banana for a super quick delicious breakfast. (I liked them so much that I just ordered a variety pack off Amazon to have on days I’m sick of smoothies.)
I kept having to move around lunch and dinners based on HH recipe development and my latest Sun Basket delivery. It was a hot mess, so there aren’t any pictures of those meals. But, I did want to share that we got out for a day date last weekend at our favorite restaurant. Perfect Pear, you never fail us. I had a pear mojito which hit the spot.
News alert. Turns out not drinking for basically 19 months (pregnant then inconvenient while breastfeeding) can turn you into a bit of lightweight. We went to Lowes after our lunch, and that might have been the most fun I’ve ever had at Lowes! Mojitos make picking out sinks fun, who knew?
Honestly, I go to Perfect Pear just for the sweet potato fries. Get in my belly!

…. still listening to the Theory of Content podcast. I had to up our data to account for all the non-wifi listening I’ve been doing. (That was after paying 40 bucks in overages.)
…..drinking hot coffee again! There is something that just feels so good about that first sip of hot coffee in the morning.
….learning video. Each week I film a new video I get a little better. A bit better on camera, a bit better at anticipating what shots and footage I’ll need when I get to editing. Just a bit better. ….using the BackSeat App. It requires you to punch in a code to verify all children have been removed from the car after every single trip. If you don’t punch in the code, the app will text your alert team that there may be an issue. The big bonus is the App doesn’t have to be open to work; it will start automatically. I paid for a year-long subscription for 14.99 because I don’t think you can ever be too careful.

…trying out a few new to me Puracy products. I’ve been loving the baby shampoo and wash for a long time (see my newborn and expectant mothers must-have list.) I recently ordered the stain remover, the baby surface cleaner, and the laundry soap. The stain remover and baby surface cleaner work really well, I’ll let you know about the laundry soap!
