Another month that has come and gone! Here are the past DIL posts I recorded in case you are interested:
Day in the Life 4 Months Pregnant
Day in the Life 6 Months Pregnant
I love documenting these random months, and I know many of you like these posts too!
The day started like it does almost every other day, RX bar at 5:50 am while I feed Nala. (These RX bars that I scored on Amazon Prime day!) Then I started to think dates are supposed to be a labor inducer, should I not be eating them?
Kind of similar to spicy food, I still love my spicy food. I know there is no research to back up old wise tales like dates, pineapple, and spicy food but it always makes me wonder if I should tone it down a little bit?

Anyways, it was 87 degrees outside, but we still made it 2 miles! Then I came home and made Mr. Hungry his typical green smoothie that we call “spinach milk.”
- handful of spinach
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 handful of nuts
- 1-2 tbsp honey
- 2 scoops vital proteins collagen
Then we (my MIL and I) took Mr. Hungry to work and stopped through the Starbucks drive-thru for coffee and feta wraps. (Ran out of my freezer friendly Starbucks Feta Breakfast Wrap)
We came home and ate our breakfast wraps, and I was feeling super energized. I got a half calf tall iced americano which has one shot of regular espresso and one shot of decaf. I’m pretty sure it is around ~100mg of caffeine, which must be more than my homemade cold brew because I felt like it was stronger.
I spent most of the morning working on scheduling out some August content on Facebook. I grabbed a yogurt right before my client meeting. Where has TJ’s been hiding their coconut almond yogurt it’s delicious!
Around 11 am I met with a nutrition counseling client who has been a nutrition client of mine for the last year or so but was recently diagnosed with gout. The recommendations for the gout diet can be pretty confusing, so we spent most of our time reviewing those recommendations.
After the meeting, I kept working on scheduling content and doing some updates on old posts until I was starving. I decided on eating a BLT, but also snacked on some TJ’s fish while I fried up the bacon. I was so hungry I totally forgot to take a picture of the BLT but it was Daves Killer Bread (Sprouted), TJ’s Applewood Smoked Bacon, spinach, primal kitchen avocado mayo, and tomato slices. (forgot to take photos)
I finished scheduling/updating around 2 pm and moved on to working my way through my inbox. The blog has been running pretty slowly for the last couple days, so I had some things I needed to work on the back end to lighten the load a bit. Hopefully, it helps. Around 3 pm I started to get a little hungry, so I grabbed a protein shake.
My MIL was using the car for the day so around 4 I headed out to pick up Mr. Hungry, we stopped by my mailbox on the way home which had a little surprise in it. Can not wait to try this out from Bob’s Red Mill!
When we got back, I started working on this post. I began to get tired early though. Between the heat and the fact that I’ve been going to bed later recently, it all kind of started to catch up with me. I thought about taking a nap but decided against it because bedtime was only a couple of hours away.
I realized I hadn’t taken my prenatal vitamins yet so I ate half of banana with peanut butter with them. On a side note, all day Hungry Baby wasn’t kicking, but instead, he was rolling or flipping around. At least that is what it felt like!
A little while later I remembered I needed more Natural Calm, so I decided to go to Sprouts. I really really didn’t want to go out into the heat but I MUST HAVE my natural calm. So we decided to call in Chinese food for Mr. Hungry and cooked sushi for me for dinner. I went to Sprouts, and then I picked up dinner! PS 25% off supplements at Sprouts right now! Score!
The sushi hit the spot! I love the roll with spicy crab, cream cheese, and avocado! After we finished up dinner, I got ready for bed and finished up my post. It was lights out by 9 pm!
Do you believe that certain foods can induce labor? Mamas any stories out there?

Megan @ Skinny Fitalicious says
My aunt, Grandma and I went on a horse carriage ride when she was 9 months pregnant. My Grandma joked that it was a wise tail that it would induce labor. That night, my aunt went to labor. So yes, I believe in that stuff!

Ha Ha that’s hysterical!
