So I’m starting to freak out a little it about the half marathon I have scheduled. Two weeks left in training DOES NOT feel like enough time to get where I need to be. I’ve only got in TWO runs per week, a long run and a short interval run, that’s it. The last couple of long runs I was sick for so they quite literally felt terrible. Now I have a 10 mile run to knock out this weekend and I’m trying to figure out a schedule to make that happen. Since I’m in Michigan for a last minute trip, I have a feeling a treadmill run or two might be in order. I don’t know how, but I know I need to get in three good runs per week to feel even close to comfortable for the race. Part of me wants to back out, drop down to a 10K and go for the Tucson half a month later. The other part of me wants to just go for it since my family will all be here I know it will be motivating. One super tiny extra part of me wants to do both the Gilbert and Tucson half marathon. The last part of me wants to ditch running and go back to focusing on pull ups, hand stand push ups and power moves. Basically, I’m all over the place!

Orange Theory – Hills of death – this is the first workout in a long time where I barely made it through. I felt nauseous (probably because I had a sinus infection I didn’t know about) and miserable. I pushed through but it was TERRIBLE with a capital T.

Worked out on my own I did some isolation and core work followed by:
12 minute AMRAMP
- 12 cleans – 45#
- 12 push press – 45#
- 12 kb swings – 35#
I got 3 rounds + 6 cleans
TI Fitness Workout. They were holding a challenge for breast cancer month, for every DVT clean and press you could do in 5 minutes TI Fitness donated 0.25 to cancer research. I got 57 using a 25# bag. Check out Instagram to see the video.
