Happy Monday Friends! How was your weekend? Mine was great, but it was even better for Nala. She went on her first hike, had a play date and hung out with us all day on Sunday. Mondays are quick for me like I’m sure they are for you, so I get right to it, here is your workout this week if you missed it on Saturday or have been following along with us! Get ready to meet your new friend, the BOSU Ball!
Make sure you get a good progressive warm up in then hit each circuit with everything you’ve got! Complete each mini circuit three times before you head to the next circuit. Give each cardio blast as much as you’ve got, really hit it hard! Keep the strength moves slow and controlled so that you get the most out of them. Then hit it again with another cardio blast! If you love the BOSU and want more of it, keep in mind you can incorporate it into just about any workout. It will challenge your strength, endurance, and most importantly, your stability. Taking the movements off balance requires your core to engage and creates a strong foundation!
Keep in mind that although I am a Certified Personal Trainer, I am not there to watch you! If you don’t feel comfortable with any of the movements modify as needed on or off the BOSU ball. As always, before beginning a new fitness regimen always talk with your doctor.
