Frozen sweet potato in your smoothie provides steady long lasting energy compared to fruit and tastes like pie! #sponsored #bonebroth #ancientnutrition
This recipe is brought to you in partnership with Ancient Nutrition!
Hi, Friends! I know it’s later than usual, with all the travel Thursday just got away from me! I had several new LEAP clients get their food sensitivity results this week, so I spent today reviewing their results and helping them start Phase 1 of their protocol.
The day just FLEW by super quick! Even though it’s later than usual, I just had to stop by and share with you the recipe for the smoothie I just can’t stop drinking!
For real, I literally could not stop myself from inhaling this smoothie. (I literally brought the #can’tstopwontstop hashtag to life.) For those of you that regularly read my Friday posts, you may remember the smoothie I had to make twice because it was so good!
This smoothie is made with Bone Broth protein from Ancient Nutrition, a brand by Dr. Axe! For my smoothie, I used the vanilla bone broth protein, but the line literally has a ton of options! You may have noticed bone broth is popping up everywhere and is super trendy.
I think of it along the same lines as I think of collagen, another way to get more protein in and provide nutrition, especially to those who can’t tolerate certain foods. This bone broth supplement is made from chicken concentrate and chicken bone broth, so it may be a good choice for those who aren’t able to tolerate dairy or grains.
You may think it’s weird, but I always have some frozen sweet potato in the freezer to throw in smoothies. I feel like it gives me more steady stable energy than fruit and it tastes delicious, especially with cinnamon! Taste like a sweet potato pie, yum yum! Let me know if you give it a try!
