Yesterday I woke up at 5 am to use the bathroom and basically laid in bed till Mr. Hungry’s alarm went off at 6:30 am. That almost never happens to me, I thought about getting up but I was too tired to get up (without coffee ha ha) but couldn’t sleep. When I woke up I drank a protein shake, checked my post, and got ready for class. On the way out the door, I ate a half a kind bar.
The students have to fast four hours and then they actually check their blood cholesterol, triglyceride, and blood pressure.
After they do the test we go over all things related to cholesterol, I put big charts on the board and we talk through all things related to heart health. You can find all the information in this post.
After class, I was pretty hungry given my light breakfast so I had a banana to hold me over until lunch. Which I decided HAD to be Chipotle. (Did you know they have an app? I didn’t use it because the Chipotle by my house is the least busy Chipotle ever. Anyway, check out that post to see how to build a healthy meal at Chipotle!)
I ate my lunch outside because it was just so gorgeous outside, I could only eat about half of it though because I got so full so I put the rest away.Then I kept working outside for a little, checking emails and responding to social/blog comments. (In case you are wondering, the people we bought the house from offered to leave their patio furniture so we took it. So that’s why it’s probably pretty old.)
Then, all of a sudden I heard a BB gunshot, then about a minute later a bird fell out of my tree. So yea, I think someone shot a giant crow out of my tree. I talked to the neighbor (a grown man, highly doubt he was the culprit) behind me and we both looked around kind of bewildered.
Around 3 pm, I got really hungry so I broke into the other half of my Chipotle! Then I had my meeting with my What to Eat? Meal Plans partner. We are working on launching the website which has been more work than anticipated but I’m excited for it!
After my meeting, I went inside and napped until Mr. Hungry got home. I haven’t been feeling so good so the nap was much needed. Then, I tried to get up and walk Nala with Mr. Hungry and I had the weirdest ankle pain. I sprained/twisted it running on Friday so I’m sure it’s related to that. Just really weird that it was fine all day while I was teaching then all of sudden, not fine. Well, I basically ate a half an orange, then laid down and went back to sleep.
When I got up the pain traveled up my leg so I realized a workout was totally off the table. I took a shower, got into comfies and started this post. I also wrapped my leg/ankle in a heating pad which seemed to help.
I guess my Chipotle was super filling because I didn’t get hungry for dinner until around 8 pm. For dinner, I had the nutritious dinner full of two string pieces of string cheese, a half of sun butter & jelly sandwich, and snacked on frozen fruit while we watched LOVE on Netflix. It’s a good show!
