So this week is going to be somewhat short post since it’s finally going to be Christmas! Grocery shopping was done Saturday night/Sunday morning…
Soooo I have to work all week minus half day on Christmas Eve and off on Christmas so I still kind of have to plan meals for me. Paul has off all week and is apparently planning on living in the garage with his Dad so I figure he can fend for himself… for the most part.
Green Juice as many days as possible…
Sweet Potato Breakfast Hash/ Lasagna
DIY Frozen Starbucks Feta Wraps (made last weekend, perfect back up for any meal)
Yogurt, Fruit, and Trail Mix
Turkey Salad with whatever mix ins I can find.
Sunday- Sweet Potato Breakfast Hash/Lasagna (to be eaten for breakfast the following days)
Monday- Chicken Tamales and Broccoli
Saturday- Chicken Tamales or Out
Christmas Morning- Quiche or a Breakfast Casserole
– Honey Glazed Ham
– Clean Eating Sweet Potato Casserole –> made this for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit (even with the people that don’t like sweet potatoes)!
– Roasted Green Beans and/or Asparagus
– Cheesy Green Peas
– Pecan Pie
– Wine & Boozy Coffee
Sunday- 5 Mile Run
Tuesday- Crossfit or 3 Mile Run w/ Strength Training
Saturday- Long Run
That’s it for now! More weekend running re-caps to come!
Question of the day:
What are you having for your Christmas meal? Any cool traditions?
Are you getting a sweat sesh in on Christmas or resting?
I’m resting! I kept telling myself over and over again while I was running this morning that I was giving up my Sunday rest day for a better totally amazing Christmas!
Do you have the whole week off, one day off, no days off? What are your plans???
