Happy Friday! TGIF Right??????
If you follow me on snapchat (—-> hungryhobbyrd) you know this week has been all about butter in my coffee, sauna time, and puppy shenanigans. Oh don’t worry, I worked my little but off in between all that too putting together a new schedule and getting some projects done! You know what else happened? Three consecutive workouts in a row: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday BAM I’m back baby (no pun intended since I angered my disc). I’ll admit that sitting for long periods of time is still the pits but the ability to work up a sweat is something I’ll never take for granted. #endorphinaddict
I also got my act together and have taken the puppy on a 2 mile walk before breakfast every single day. Although I love starting my day this way enjoying the morning and getting some of Nalas energy out, sometimes it can be hard to pull myself away from working, breakfast = the reward.
Something else I did? I gave in and joined a gym, well technically it’s a small recreation center but they have some treadmills, more than two sets of weights and a sauna so it’s worth the 20 bucks a month. Yesterday I did this workout to sort of easy back into interval running (I set my incline to 0.5 to encourage my foot to doors-flex, it’s least favorite movement.) I thought for the weekend you guys would like to have it!
I spent about 20 minutes doing rehab exercises before jumping on the tread so you could easily pair this with a strength circuit workout for a total body workout! Need an idea? Try this out!
(If you are going to do the treadmill, I would replace the squat jumps with weighted squats or air squats) —-> Exercise Links

[…] I got in a couple of great workouts including a 6.5 miles run with Nala (Friday morning so possibly the reason she was so terrible at training), a metabolic style killer workout (I’ll share soon) and a killer 2 mile interval workout that looked like this one. […]
