Hi Friends! How about a classic style day in the life post for fun, eh? My morning started off with a run with the puppy. My first run outside in over 2 months and it felt great! The puppy is still working on learning to be a good running partner though, every once in a while she will go a little to fast and pull me (when I’m running I really don’t have complaints about that) or decide the leash is a chew toy, but overall she is doing well. I did pretty good on the run too, I felt pretty good after the run, I’m a little sore now so I’m taking care to stretch my back out well and take it easy. I had a feeling that transitioning from all the treadmill workouts to outside wouldn’t be a total walk in the park but that’s okay!
It definitely tuckered the little pup out!
She snoozed right through breakfast, which was 1 egg, 1/2 cup egg whites, laughing cow and zucchini with ketchup #ketchupandeggsforever
I did a ton of chores around the house after breakfast and then I worked on my inbox. Okay and then I ate an apple and watched Once Upon A Time because it’s my day off and I could. Before I headed out to go grocery shopping I figured I should have some lunch so I ate some leftover green beans and salmon “meat”balls. Simple, quick and delicious!
Followed by an afternoon run for my new favorite drink- unsweetened starbucks doubleshot…. amazing!
Thank goodness for the coffee because the new to me Trader Joe’s by our new house was crazy busy, nothing like the one by our old house. It felt like a Saturday or Sunday morning, it was CRAZY BUSY. My first trip to Trader Joe’s since they put out all their pumpkin stuff, I somehow only made it out with 5 cans of pumpkin, pancake mix, and the pumpkin O’s. I can’t wait to freeze one whole can of pumpkin to use in smoothies!
I’ve been CRAVING cereal for the last two weeks, and if I know one thing about myself it’s better to give into cravings than ignore them.… they only get louder. So of course I had to have a bowl of Pumpkin O’s when I got home…
Which held me over for all of 2.5 seconds, so now I’m having some cottage cheese while typing up this post! Mr. Hungry should be home soon so I’m planning to make some green juice for us and get dinner going. Hope you have a wonderful night!

That pumpkin pancake mix sounds awesome! And I have to steal your idea to freeze pumpkin – it goes bad so quickly in the fridge.

Right? Freeze them and you’ll be surprised how many uses you find for it!
