After the preschool drama of a couple of weeks ago, where we last minute pulled KJ and switched him, I’m happy to say we feel at home at his new preschool. Always go with your gut, Mamas!
Little mischievous cheese ball. Compared to my little baby last year! What a difference!
Kids are funny. KJ did something so unexpected, he had gone into his classroom, and I heard him running about out. I thought he wanted another hug, but he ran right past me to give his little brother a kiss. Then past me again back into class. Just when you think your kids live on two separate planets (in their case, preschooler land, and toddler land), moments of connection happen that blow me away. BRB while I cry in the corner.
Other than that, the power went out like four times last night, waking us up each time, so today, I’m on the struggle bus. Need more caffeine. Adios friends. Have a good weekend!

Archies
As many of you know, I’ve been on the struggle bus with plantar fasciitis for the last couple of weeks. I’ve always had high arches that collapsed when walking, but the problem was exacerbated in my last pregnancy. My feet got about half a size bigger, which indicates a loosening of ligaments, probably setting my arches up for failure. Luckily, I’m okay if I wear my orthotics, but who wants to wear tennis shoes 24/7? My running shoes don’t look cute with dresses, haha I ordered a million failed “arch support” sandals off Amazon before deciding to try Archies, and so glad I did because they are amazing! Perfect amount of comfort, and I can walk in them fine! Turns out my MIL has a pair, and it’s the only thing she wears at home around the house to prevent foot pain. We both highly recommend them!
New Hungryroot Meal to Try: Dairy-Free Enchila. I
Not going to lie, I probably wouldn’t have tried this meal if it wasn’t for Mr. Hungry requesting it. Dairy-free enchiladas from Hungryroot came with dairy-free Kite Hill sour cream, green chile sauce, sous vide pulled seasoned chicken, and tortillas. You mix the enchilada sauce with the chicken and fill the tortillas. I added a can of refried beans by slathering beans over each tortilla before I filled them. I filled 2 or 3 this way; then, I mixed the chicken with cheese to fill the rest. Then I topped 3/4 of it (the ones with cheese on the inside) with real cheese since only the baby is dairy-free now. The picture isn’t that great, but they came out delicious!

Fitness
Obviously, fitness hasn’t been great, mainly sticking with upper and core but hoping to start walking again this weekend.
Here are two upper body workouts I did this week:
T
This one should say 50 mountain climbers! Sorry, I forgot the number! Also, the plank rows are 10-12 each.
You may notice I’m not doing any chest workouts like chest presses or push-ups. This is because I’m trying to combat the chest tightness I have that causes neck pain to come and go. So I’m avoiding those for now in favor of more back activation.
