My alarm went off at 5:50 am, I shut it off, ate half of the graham cracker in a box by my bed (to avoid nausea) and got up. After feeding Nala, and getting dressed, I ate two trail mix energy balls. Nala and I were out the door by 6:10 am.
Nala and I walked for 2.5 miles or about 45 minutes, and then I came home and made Mr. Hungry a smoothie (see his usual smoothie here). I spent a while trying to figure out what workout to do, but then I remembered I had a chiropractor appointment. So, I decided to do 20 minutes on the treadmill. I kept the pace nice and slow, plus put water on my legs to minimize that shocking feeling I mentioned yesterday. I don’t know what that’s about, but I still think it’s heat related. I noticed at the end of the workout though it went away. Anyways I’ll stop rambling about my weird pregnancy symptoms.
I went home and made a quick yogurt bowl for breakfast. It had vanilla greek yogurt, banana, almond butter granola (from TJ’s) and a big scoop of almond butter.
I was given instructions to do more groin stretches at Trimotus, so that was fun. Then, I came home and got to work. First I worked on wrapping up stuff for my students at the community college I teach at. Then I got started checking my inbox. I’m pretty strict about only checking my inbox one time per day so it can be kind of hefty at some points. Part way through I got hungry, so, I decided to make some avocado toast!
On today’s menu: cream cheese topped with avocado and everything seasoning!
Then I worked on checking email, blog comments, and social media for a while longer until I got hungry for Lunch #2. But, at some point in that time, I stopped to play HQ. Mr. Hungry got me obsessed with this game. It’s a “live” trivia game that happens at 12 pm and 6 pm MST. I always, lose rather quickly, but surprisingly I still like it. (If you download it put in my referral code so I can get extra lives! The code is: hungryhobby! Yes, I use hungryhobby for many things including random games I play haha)
For lunch, Mr. Hungry grilled some Butcher Box burgers (did you see my post about getting free Wild Alaskan Salmon from them?) over the weekend, so I reheated one of those with a bunch of veggies on the side. Not gonna lie was feeling pretty good about all those veggies! Plus a pickle because apparently, I’m a pregnant cliche. Then I had two handfuls of vegetable root chips to finish off the meal.
After lunch #2 I worked on a bunch of random stuff. For one thing, uploading this new video to its original post and all the social media channels! Believe it or not, it takes a while to get a video uploaded and ready to share on the blog and all the social channels. I wanted to make sure I shared it before Mothers Day weekend because I think it would be an excellent recipe for Mother’s Day brunch!
(Get the full recipe for Broccoli Cheddar Oatmeal Bake here.)
Then, I quickly ate a rice cake with Nutella and banana slices on it before heading out to meet a new client at Whole Foods. (Sorry about the crappy photo, my iPhone seems to be taking worse and worse photos nowadays.)
I like to meet there because it’s less closed in then coffee shops meaning you aren’t in ear shot of someone right at the next table.
I planned to meet another client on Skype following the in-person client, but the wifi was awful at Whole Foods. So weird because it’s usually terrific! Luckily I live close; I made it home in time to meet for our scheduled time on Skype. After our appointment, I did a quick IG Live on @hungryhobbyrd and @whattoeatmealplans showing how the meal plans work and what’s on this week’s meal plan.
Mr. Hungry was home by that time, so I spent a little while catching up on our days and trying to decide what to eat for dinner. Eventually, I settled on a Cali-Crust. Yep, just the crust – I figured it at least at some veggies in it and would be filling. Normally I would have eaten it with ranch, but I only had a fresh ranch which has been in the fridge a questionably extended period of time. Probably a no-no in pregnancy is my guess?
After dinner, we medicated Nala’s ears thanks to yet another ear infection. Practice for the baby? I hope not! Then I got started on this post. I finished a little later than I would have liked and didn’t head for bed till 9:30 pm. Which in today’s world is 1.5 hours past my bedtime which means I will probably require a nap today. Ha ha oh well! Hope you have a good day friends!
What was the high and low to your Monday?

That breakfast bowl looks amazing! Also, pickles are good all the time. Hope you have a nice day!
