Wow, who is else is happy Monday is donzo? This girl definitely is!
I REALLY wanted to work out when I finally got home, but alas it did not happen the way I wanted it to. I tried to work out but I was pretty sore in my lower back from this weekends swimming, running and planking. Last time I worked out with lower back soreness I ended up significantly injured for 4 months. No thanks, I’ll skip that. Admittedly I tried to start a youtube workout then backed off and switched to yoga. I ended up doing a 20 minute yoga series which felt really good! Afterwards it was already close to 8:30 so food was on the agenda. I thought about making a smoothie but I had some sad veggies in the fridge that were pleading to be juiced.
I made myself a big old glass of green juice (Paul has been battling some sort of little stomach bug so he wanted no part of that).
I paired my green juice with one container of TJ’s Mango greek yogurt and one huge spoonful of plain greek nonfat yogurt. I topped that with some delicious crunchy quinoa granola. I usually have eggs as my go to breakfast for dinner, but this dinner totally hit the spot. I wish I could have that breakfast every day for any meal, especially breakfast. Maybe someday I’ll have a job where I can eat breakfast at home before heading off to work….but right now I leave way too early for that so I’ll have to stick with my portable breakfast options and keep with my weekly breakfast for dinner tradition.
I might have snuck a small handful of zebra popcorn too.
Another night in a row, as soon as I hit publish I’m off to bed! Hope Tuesday is a good one for everyone!
