Sorry this post is so late, but that is just how the cookie crumbled today! Grocery shopping was short and sweet at Trader Joe’s and Costco:
Here is what I’ve got planned for this upcoming week.
Workout Plans
Post training, but not completing (click here to see why I skipped out on the half marathon) my race I am kind of at a lost as to what to do. Which I knew would happen, but thats okay, its kind of fun that way since having such set schedules for the past 12 weeks. Here is what I tentatively have planned:
Sunday- 6.21 Mile Run-Done!
Monday- 4 Mile Run plus Abs with Paul or Elliptical and Nike Trainer
Tuesday- Alpha
Wednesday- Off/Yoga or Swim
Thursday- Alpha
Friday- Swim/Yoga
Saturday- Wild Card
Friday and Saturday are pretty up in the air considering the level of soreness after Alpha workouts. I like to leave Saturdays light so I can do a longish run on Sunday, but I do what I can on Friday depending on how I feel. In any case, Paul and I will be pretty much be consumed with wedding details at night so the plan is to get workouts done in the morning, except Alpha which has to be at night.
Meal Plans
Breakfast= PUMPKIN MADNESS
– Pumpkin Pie Breakfast Scramble
– Pumpkin Green Protein Smoothies
– Pumpkin Apple Quinoa Breakfast Bars
– Green Juice whenever possible
Lunch
– Turkey, Dates, and Goat Cheese Salad
– Chicken Salad Sandwiches
Dinners
Sunday– Out
Monday– Cheesy Brussel Sprouts and Chicken Sausage
Tuesday- Salmon Salad
Wednesday- Tortilla Crusted Quiche
Thursday- 5 Min Omelet Stir Fry with Shrimp
Friday- Quesadillas
Saturday- Wing it
