Hello out there, this is going to be a quick WIAWRD one today! I started to put together some collages of what I ate last week and realized there were some definite gaps in my photo taking so I switched back to daily. Let’s go for it! Last Wednesday started off with a giant green smoothie….
- 1 scoop vanilla whey powder
- 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
- 2T PB2
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 5 frozen strawberries
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 big handfuls of spinach
- 1 tsp chia seeds (blended everything first, then stirred in chia seeds)
For lunch I was too lazy to make it the night before so I just grabbed a green chile and cheese frozen breakfast burrito and some carrots.
That didn’t quite hold me over as long as it usually does for breakfast, luckily I had a quest bar to get me through rush hour. 🙁 = Commuting
About an hour before dinner I snacked on some leftover broccoli in the fridge because I was getting hungry and I knew it would be a while till Mr. Hungry was ready for dinner.
For dinner we had Salmon Burgers, I had mine over salad with goat cheese and barbecue sauce.
And never ever do I forget dessert…
That’s it! Hope today goes by fast for y’all, I just got back from a sports medicine appointment with some good news. After looking at my past MRI’s, talking to me about my flare ups over the last several months, and doing some physical tests he thinks I’m totally curable! He gave me 30 days of anti-inflammatory medication and a perscription for aggressive physical therapy (three times per week). I’m feeling excited to have a light at the end of this injury tunnel!
