Happy Sunday and Happy Labor Day Weekend! I hope your having a good one so far! Even though it’s Labor Day weekend I’m still popping in to share what I’ve got planned for meals and workouts this week. Nothing too drastically different, a couple of new recipes planned. I’m actually hoping to make it through a two week meal plan, so we will see how it goes!
Groceries
No grocery pictures this week yet, I haven’t gotten around to it quite yet. Well I did get the farmbox but I forgot about it and left it in the car for an hour or two, so then I had to rush to get all the contents in the fridge, hence, no picture.
Meal Plan
Here is what I’m thinking for next week!
Breakfast
– green juice (taking advantage of the next couple days off to make green juice!)
– make more breakfast burritos (most likely green chile and cheese, but I’ve got some feta so maybe a couple feta wraps too)
– drink more green smoothies—> so ready for pumpkin green protein smoothies again!
– banana/nut butter wraps for quick days
– random leftovers
Lunch
Mondays grill leftovers and any other leftovers from the week, plus salad
Dinner
Sunday (8/30)- Grill burgers, chicken sausage, and eggplant
Monday (09/01)- Make tuna cakes (inspired by nom nom paleo recipe) and egg salsa skillet (inspired by cooking light recipe)
Tuesday (9/2)- Deli chicken omelets with microgreens or mahi burgers
Wednesday (9/3)- Green Curry Salmon, green beans, brown rice or sweet potato
Thursday (9/4)- Easy (smoothies or mahi burger salads)
Friday (9/5)- Sprouts Frozen Pizzas and Salad
Saturday (9/6)- wing it
Sunday (9/7)- Leek and Asparagus Frittata
Monday (9/8)- Stuffed Sweet Potatoes
Tuesday (9/9)- Mahi Burgers
Wednesday (9/10)- Shrimp and Broccoli Omelets
Thursday (9/11)- Easy meal like smoothies or grilled cheese, quesadilla etc….
Friday- wing it
Saturday- wing it
Fitness
So my running plans are a bit halted while my shin splints die down, that makes my workout schedule a little up in the air… They don’t hurt just walking around, only when I pick up a jog. I’ve been icing and wearing compression sleeves so I’m hoping they heal fast! Shin splints suck but at least with rest recovery is quick!
