A quick healthy on the go snack that tastes like a handful of trail mix in cookie dough form! Healthy, filling, and tons of nutrients in every bite!
Hi, friends! I’m just popping in to share with you these delicious energy bites I’ve been eating first thing when I wake up in the morning. I was eating an RX barevery day, and then I would head out to walk Nala. However, it gets expensive to eat one for breakfast every morning. So I decided to make some energy bites!
I tried them out the last week and they were perfect. They kept me from being nauseous during my walk with Nala and my workout. Then I would have breakfast number two around 8 am or so.
These are also great if I need a quick snack to stave off morning sickness (not in the morning) as well! I made mine with almond butter because peanut butter has sadly been an aversion.
If you want that traditional trail mix taste, I would use peanut butter instead of almond butter. Either will work though! As always, enjoy and let me know if you try them!

This is a brilliant idea. I seldom have breakfast since I am also in a hurry every morning. It would be great to have these energy balls instead. Will try making a batch this weekend.
