So I ended up getting the Six Pack Bag I mentioned a while ago! I thought I would share how I packed it in Day in the Life post! I recorded all day on Tuesday this week.

I got up around 5:15 am and immediately got ready. I can usually get ready in between 20-45 minutes depending on what my hair decides to do, this week I washed my hair the night before so it needed a little extra love in the morning. I ended up heading downstairs around 6 am to drink water. I then spent some time getting things ready for me to take with me to school, I packed up my new lunch bag and new water bottle. I get everything ready the night before so it’s pretty easy to pack in the morning, everything was ready by 6:15 am.
Then I did some blog work on my computer while drinking my coffee (with collagen and whole milk). By 7 am I was ready for breakfast! All this week has been baked oats with a large scoop of peanut butter on top! I seriously can’t wait to share the recipe with you guys, it’s amazing!
At 7:45 am I stop working and get my stuff together to leave, let Nala out to go to the bathroom, and head out the door by 8 am. On the way to work, I ate two sweet potato protein muffins, another recipe coming very soon!
I arrive at work at 8:30 am and I have to set up the lab for the day. This week was body composition so I set up the tape measures, calibrate the height machine, and get out the Tanita body composition scale. Then I set up my powerpoint, call IT to figure out how to work the presenter view and am ready by 8:55 or so. Today’s lab lasted from 8:55 to 11:20, so by the time it was over I was ready for coffee and lunch! Adult Lunchable-style of buffalo deli turkey (nitrate free from sprouts), hummus (I use theselittle containers to pack my hummus), celery (not shown), and grape tomatoes! I also had a few bites of apple and about 1/3 of the mason jar of iced coffee I brought with me.
The next lab last about the same amount of time and last from 12-2:20. Afterward, I ate a snack of apples and this week’s yogurt mixture. Stonyfield 100% Grass-fed plain yogurt mixed with 2T PB Fit, 1/2 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder, and Stevia drops(on sale at Sprouts right now for buy one get one free!)
I worked on grading lab reports for about an hour before I headed to the gym for a workout. As you know my shoulder has been bothering me a ton so I’m being very careful about my workouts. Walking seems to bother it, so does running, and obviously lifting heavy isn’t a great idea. So, I had the idea to bike, but let me preface that by saying that I HATE biking for two reasons. First, because I only bike when I’m injured, hence the negativity associated with it. Second, because it used to REALLY hurt my hip, back when I couldn’t sit for more than 5 minutes without pain. (Read my story here, it lasted two years, 5 doctors, and finally how Dr.Khavari fixed my hip pain that was actually a back injury.)
I ended up doing 10 miles! I was pretty excited about that, I have no idea if 10 miles in 40 minutes is respectable or not, but I don’t care because I did it! I posted on snapchat (hungryhobbyrd) about how proud I was for doing something I don’t really like to do. I put the workout in a pinable image for you guys!
After my workout I had cottage cheese and Inka plantain chipsInka plantain chips, another favorite of mine!
I quickly changed and freshened up my make up for the evening class, which lasted from 5 to about 7:10 pm. I locked up and headed out, enjoying a Kirkland protein bar on the way home!
When I got home I got my food ready for Wednesday (basically the same thing but not as much because I don’t have an evening class) and finished up sending out some freelance work. I also had two calcium gummies, fish oil, and GLA. Then I planned my day out for the next day (made a giant list, prioritized etc.), showered, and passed out almost immediately!!!
Six Pack Bag Review
Just a heads up, I am not being compensated by the company in any way to do this review. Since I worked at the gym, I’ve always wanted one of these bags. Mr. Hungry and I agreed it was time to splurge since I would be at school from 8:30 am to 7 or 8 pm! I put together this little video that I uploaded to YouTube to show you what it’s really like! A little favor, since my YouTube channel is just getting going I’d love it if you subscribed and let me know in the comments what kind of videos you would like to see more of (recipes, nutrition topics, workouts, product reviews, other stuff) that would be so helpful!

Living the food dream. I want all the things. Those oats are just gorgeous, I need to make more muffins (weekend goals?) and holla at the adult lunchable. I listened to a podcast on junk food (maybe? I think) and they talked about lunchables and it was both hilarious and confirmed what I already new. And yes, I totally grew up on them.
The pizza ones were my fave. And I remember thinking that they tasted horrible even then and yet I still loved them.

I know it’s so trendy right now right? I just feel a little better with some protein and fat, instead of just caffeine first thing in the morning! It’s so good just finished editing all the photos!
