O. M. G. you guys, the leaves in Michigan were UNREAL! PINK, ORANGE, RED, YELLOW, I couldn’t stop staring and trying to jump into them. It was absolutely breathtaking, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite so beautiful.
Because it was so beautiful I couldn’t help but want dress up in ALLTHEFALLFASHION all at once. I mean in Arizona, the scenery doesn’t change, not like this anyway. Dressing up in different clothes and decorating you know what out of everything is how we ensure everyone knows the season has changed in Arizona.
I love the way sweater dresses look, I always have. What isn’t to love about a cozy soft dress hugging your curves and making you look fantastic. Cozy and sexy all in one, sign me up for 15 of them! However, I’ve never loved the way they looked on me, they never hugged me in the right places if you know what I mean. That was until I found this little number which you could say was love at first sight.
It is extremely figure flattering. The sinch off to the side flatters your stomach and your hips in all the ways a sweater dress (or any dress should.) I probably should have taken a photo with my jacked off to show you the three-quarter length sleeves and the sinching. However, I was in Michigan, ditching the scarf was as far as I was willing to go. I love you guys, but I HATE the cold.
Which reminds me, on day three when the temperature dropped below 40 I could have cared less how pretty the trees were. I was ready to go back home to the best time of year in Arizona. It will be 70-85 for the next month or so, and I for one, plan to enjoy every second of it. When you make it through a summer of 120-degree weather you earn a badge of honor that allows you to take extra long walks, breaks, and outside lunches all of October, November, and December.
- Banana Republic Sweater Dress (I got a small)
- Stitchfix Jacket
- Similar Scarf (this one )
- Similar Boots (these ones)
Would you rather be cold or hot?
I’d rather be hot. I think, I don’t know this summer was pretty brutal but cold weather is worse, I think.
