This morning started with another D. TOX smoothie, here we come day 3! I subbed the 1/2 banana for a cup of berries just to see what it would taste like. I keep hearing complaints at the club about the “vitaminy” taste of the shakes. (Not surprising since all the D.TOX nutrient pill packets were included in the shakes.)
I don’t think there that bad, in fact, I kind of like them. I’m not complaining, I’d rather like what I have to drink every morning for the next 14 days then not! I also like the fact I don’t have to take a packet of pills anymore.
Last night I went to start this post at a little before 9pm and I was EXHAUSTED. I knew I’d be getting up early to try and get my workout in this morning so I decided to go to bed. I’ve been working on getting more sleep since my day starts at 5am, but still it felt so EARLY! (Picture taken after yesterday’s stair master workout! 30 minutes LISS!)
I know sleep effects my mood the next day, my counseling style, my energy, my enthusiasm, hunger level, pretty much everything so I’ve really been trying to prioritize it especially during D.TOX. I’m proud of myself for getting to bed even though it felt weird! I’m even prouder for knocking out my workout this morning. It was a little challenging because Nala thought burpees meant time to wrestle. I felt bad I definitely jumped on her a couple of times!
Do you find it hard to go to bed early?
How does getting less sleep effect you?
Dog owners, any good ideas for getting pup to calm down while I work out?
