This mornings workout was hard after my long but INSANELY FUN WEEKEND (I would add pictures of the group but I may have misplaced my camera/left in a cab- WHOOPS ha ha), anyways it was definitely hard to conjure up the motivation to run. After I finally did get going, it felt really good to kick back into training mode.
I tricked myself into running faster and faster by slowly increasing the intervals. Check it out:
After I finished I grabbed a protein shake and headed to the chiropractor. I’m still not clear for heavy strength training, so I won’t be able to take a barbell or crossfit class this week. I hate when injuries get in the way of what you want to do! Okay injuries in general just suck, they are such a pain (yes literally), but I’m trying so hard yet again to listen to my body and do what I need to heal.
Not too long after I ate a breakfast of blueberries, bananas, and almond butter.
I heated it in the microwave for one minute and then mixed it around… not as pretty looking but taste like a freaking blueberry pie!
And of course Missy wanted to lick the bowl…
Are anyone else’s cats as obsessed with almond butter and milk as mine?
Then it was wedding stuff and tying up lose ends stuff all morning before I made a quick salad with a mahi burger, peach, and cucumber. Sounds weird, but the combinations was soooo good!
Since Paul is going out of town soon and I got back so late last night we are kind of winging meals this week. Plan tonight is turkey dogs and pesto spaghetti squash for the next couple of days.
I am also still somewhat winging my training plan since I’m still not clear for the amount of strength training I want to be doing. Here is what I kind of have planned to do, but I’m pretty sure workouts and days will be changing.
The rest of the day (and the month) is reserved for studying for the RD exam and wedding planning, hope everyone had a great weekend!
