Fitness
Overall it was a better week for working out. (If you are new, I caught everyone up on my injury last week.) By that, I mean I actually worked out ha ha. My doctor now thinks that I’m dealing with a pelvic floor issue. I was actually treated for pelvic floor dysfunction in college, but never finished the treatment. It way too far out there for my little 21-year-old mind to be comfortable with. Given the symptoms I had with that, Dr. K thinks this is 100% musculoskeletal and can be fixed. We likely inadvertently were able to affect the pelvic floor with a lot of the stuff we did before, treating it as a back injury which is why it basically went away before. All because I told him the sitting pain felt the worst closer a millimeter over to the left of my sits bone. On one hand, I’m excited to have a new treatment plan, on the other I’m not excited to have my umpteenth diagnosis in 4 years. Oh well, nothing to do but wait it out! My hubby gave me this pad that we used for an airdyne that we used to have, it’s been working pretty well in the car so I ordered another one (see favorites)!
Anyways, lots of walks with the pup this week! We also found a dog park right near our new house, not walking distance like the old house but still super close!
In addition to below, I do all my exercises focusing on pelvic floor relaxation and shoulder work. It’s a real load of fun!

Food
I actually remembered to take pictures last Tuesday, which started with a Holiday Spice Flat White with 2% thank to my MIL. Hands down my favorite Starbucks drink, not too sweet and very filling!
I also snacked on a two hemp and flaxseed energy bites and that was breakfast! I made a big batch so I can stay on top of seed cycling during the holidays.
For lunch, I had delicata squash breakfast boat with taco sauce.
In the afternoon I had a ton of water, I’m proud of myself for staying on top of the water. One thing that has helped are these mason jar lidsand drinking out of a straw, I always drink more out of a straw!
For a snack, I had a Maple Hill Creamery 100% Grassfed Greek Yogurt. BTW these yogurts are only $1.39 at Natural Grocers. I find they are usually $2 or $2.39 at Whole Foods or Sprouts!
And a flourless white chocolate peppermint cookie.I made a batch for the neighbors but the oven malfunctioned causing only some of them to turn out, I happily ate the crappy ones but I did end up having to send some to the trash and my family was PISSED I threw them away.
For dinner, we had oven fried chicken tenders and broccoli, no picture though so here is one of the nice pictures!
And after dinner, while I’m finishing up blog work, I love to drink La Croix!
In a way, I’m like thank God I recorded last Tuesday in photos for you guys because yesterday was, well, not my ideal picture of health. Let’s just say it consisted of a donut (which I balanced by having coffee with collagen), Starbucks feta wrap, pizza (I really only ate the toppings but still), a glass of wine and ice cream. Ha ha, oh the holidays. I did also get in flax balls, a piece of delicata squash, and salad but, I bring it up only because normally days like this don’t bother me because I’m pretty active and it all balances out. The thing is this holiday season, I’m getting back into my workout groove but I’m not hitting up OTF and going on super long runs. You know what? It’s fine. I find the same old principles apply, the more I tell myself not to eat the cookie I more I want it. The more I don’t worry about it the less of an issue it is.

Here is the pad that has been helping:
This month’s Barbox came! There may have been a little tension between my nephew and Nala about whose toys they actually were though. We had to split them, my nephew got the car and Nala got the Nutcracker!

Hi, Kelli.
First of all, I want to greet you a Merry Christmas! Your dinner, oven fried chicken tenders and broccoli is sure is yummy! Do you have a recipe for this dish? I would gladly try it.
