Happy FriYAY friends, happy day indeed. Did you have a lovely Valentine’s Day? We mostly treated it like a normal day. I mean don’t get me wrong I would gladly use the holiday as an excuse to take a bite out of every single piece of candy in the box, but preggo did that last year, so I think I’m good this year. Mr. Hungry offered to take me to Chipotle, but I passed since I had all the ingredients for a Chipotle bowl at home.
So basically, over here we are cool with not making too big of a deal about Valentine’s Day. However, social media got me like “wait, should I care? Should I care? I should be mad we didn’t spend money on flowers, chocolates, and cards right?” UM NO. It’s totally fine; it’s all good. We decided to call our new treadmill our Valentine’s Day present to each other.

Oatmilk
You guys. I’m obsessed; Plant Oat Oatmilk is by far my new favorite type of non-dairy milk. I’ve been cooking with it, drinking it in my coffee and right out of the carton. DEEEE-LISH-OUS! Watch IG. I’ll be sharing a little bit more about it over there this week.
Biodegradable Packing Peanuts
Apparently, I didn’t pay close enough attention to the new packing material from Butcher Box in my last couple of boxes because you can wash the peanuts down the sink! They are biodegradable!
Vegan Blondies
I made my salted vegan dark chocolate chunk blondies this week and you should too, they are the BOMB! I put them on this weeks WTE Meal plan!
Fitness
There were some walks this week, but I forgot to record them, so I don’t know when. KJ has been super fussy on walks lately which is kind of a bummer, I probably need to switch to doing the front pack carrier during them, and he would be a lot happier. He is just not a car seat/stroller type kid, I keep thinking we are past it but then we reality is we definitely aren’t. As far as working out goes, there were days this week where it took me 2 hours to do a 30-minute workout. It’s annoying, and I could have stopped, it would have been alright if I did, but I just kept going. I kept singing the Dori finding Nemo song in my head – just keep going just keep going going going….
It also helps to remind myself; it won’t be too long until I’ll wish to be interrupted again. I’ll wish for squishy cheeks and cuddles and baby toes, so, for now, I try not to be annoyed when my workout gets interrupted… or shower… or meal… or sleep… you get the idea ha ha.
