We are gonna breeze right over whatever the heck happened last night to UA basketball, I don’t even know. All I can say is I hope Buffalo goes all the way so I can feel better about losing to them.
It’s been interesting week friends, I was on spring break from teaching which gave me some time to catch up a little bit on things. Mr. Hungry got back from Vegas Sunday and his Mom left Tuesday. This weekend I’m looking forward to some much needed low key time together. Nothing specific on the agenda, just hanging out, watching march madness and getting stuff done! I ordered some new backdrops from Ink and Elm on Etsy so I’m hoping they come today so I can use them this weekend! I know exciting stuff people, it’s exciting stuff!

Thanks to @pbfingers for inspiring me with her workout she posted on her IG stories, I needed some upper body motivation and inspiration!
- 8 row and throw on BOSU ball – each
- Bicep Curl x 12
- Seated cable row x 12
- Overhead Tricep Extension x 12 (I used the cable machine)
- 12 BOSU Ball Burpees
- Lat Pull Down x 12
- Alternating Front Raises x 12
- Bench Dips x 12
- Medicine Ball Dip Jacks x 12
Ran 1.5 miles, went on a long walk with a friend, and a short 15-minute workout.
Repeated this whole work out 3.5 times until 15 minute time went off!
- 10 squats
- 30 ice skaters
- 10-12 bicep curls to arnold press
- hamstring curls x 10
My MIL and I tried a new restaurant called Tempe Public Market. They have a location in Phoenix called Phoenix Public Market and everyone raves about it so we wanted to try one out now that there was one close by! It was pretty good, I got mine without bacon so it was kind of plain just egg and cheese on the inside, but most of the time I enjoy plain food so that’s alright with me!
Last weekend I also got to try out another new restaurant with my mom. The Farm at South Mountain has been around forever and is super popular but I’d never been.
It’s nice, it has all sorts of outdoor seating, unfortunately, it was raining but just sprinkling. I got the apple pecan chicken salad without blue cheese.
We also shared some dessert, a mini blueberry pie and a slice of carrot cake. We didn’t finish either of them (that would have been sugar overload but I did make a good dent in that carrot cake frosting), but they were good!
Yesterday I used a gift card for Jamba Juice I’ve had in my wallet forever! Jamba Juice sent it to me along with a care package a year and a half ago for Christmas, but I forgot about it. After my chiropractor appointment, a smoothie sounded super refreshing, so I stopped there and got the greens and ginger smoothie. Thanks, Jamba Juice, I might have to make that a regular thing!
Lately 99.9% of my water consumption has come in the form of La Croix. So much that we are now purchasing three packs at costco at a time, with my new favorite being the lemon.
Nala playing at the dog park! We’ve been going weekly and it makes me so happy to see her run and she found a new friend!
