Guess what? (Sorry, this is a repeat if you watched my stories on IG.)
We have ANOTHER leak, this time in the garage. We literally moved into this new house and immediately replaced the 37-year-old roof to avoid leaks. Last time, the leak was because the roofing company forgot to put some piece near the AC, which was leaking through there. This time, the leak is coming from the trim on the doors on the upstairs balcony, which is rotting and is also 37 years old. The leak is flowing down and rotting the beam that holds up the garage door motors downstairs. It’s great.
The funny thing is, before that happened, we had been discussing converting our third-car garage (where the leak is) into a usable living space. Unless we get a motorcycle or a mini cooper, no car can fit in there anyways. It’s too small. But it would be a great room with its own entry and exit, which has so much potential. Our friend, a contractor, came by to look at the project, and we have a couple more contractors coming by to look at it. The thing is, not any handyman can get up there and replace the trim. It has to be a licensed contractor because if the damage ends up being bad and it’s an insurance claim, everything needs to be in order and billable. I’m praying all that needs to be replaced is the trim, not the doors.
So meanwhile, this week, KK developed an ear infection so bad that it affected his eye. I thought he had pink eye, but it turns out it’s just an ear infection so bad it’s causing pressure and irritation in his eye. After some drama with trying to get the antibiotics, we finally got them. Then I got sick, hence the zero posts that happened this past week! Hoping next week returns to normalcy.

How cute is KJ’s construction zone? When I thought about being a boy mom, this is the kind of stuff I always thought of. Dump trucks transporting mud and muddy toy zones. He loves it, and I’m happy it’s cooling down so we can spend more time out there!
I love this probiotic drink I got from Sprouts! A delicious way to get some extra probiotics in!
I also forgot how much I love the clean ingredients and taste of a Go Macro Bar!
My sweet friend sent me this UberEats delivery when she heard about the rough week we’ve been having. I thought it was such a sweet way to show someone across the country how much you care!

After a few hot streaks where I felt I was improving my weights and kicking ass, I did not work out. It’s been a rough week. Back at it this week!

This is an old workout from when I worked at the gym, but a good one! Keep in mind you are only doing five reps per exercise, so you want to go as heavy as you can work safely.
