Today’s D.TOX smoothie included 1/2 frozen banana, 1 cup berries, 2 scoops mediclear, ice and fibermend, I still think it’s delicious! I drank the smoothie after a 40 minute walk with pup pup.
One thing I’ve noticed since starting D.TOX is that I’m so thirsty all the time. I’ve been downing way more water than I usually do, instead of having to make a conscious effort to drink water I’ve been craving it. It’s kind of weird, but definitely good so I’ll take it! I’ve been surprising myself by finishing a whole liter of water during our morning walks, drinking 2 Liters throughout the day, and another small bottle before bed. That’s madness for me! It’s probably my body trying to flush out all those toxins!!!!!! After spin, I did some work, then errands and finally came home to make a brown rice goat cheese chicken quesadilla with carrots on the side.
Days off during the week are so nice, but so busy. It’s nice to have some time to do things that you can’t do at work, but also hard to cram everything into one day. Now I’m off to a hair appointment, have a fabulous day!
What would you rather have: two weekend days off or one week day and one weekend?
