Good morning friends! I’m blogging a little later than usual, which might happen kind of frequently now that the weather is warming up. Let’s be honest, Arizona pretty much refuses to participate in spring. In the dessert, we have two seasons: winter and summer. That’s it, so I’m now I’ve got to be done walking Nala for the day by 8 am, or it’s miserable. This morning started off with a cup of coffee and a peanut butter protein balls (I shared on Facebook) while I worked on some blog stuff.
I left the house to take Nala on a walk by 7:10 am, we headed around the lake which is always such beautiful scenery especially to start the day with.
When I came home, I inhaled some breakfast in about 10 minutes, not the best intuitive eating experience, but at least there were no distractions! One the menu was a gluten free cinnamon waffle with cashew butter, two eggs and ketchup (unshown.)
Then it was time to head to class, today’s lab is all about Iron Foods, Functions, and Facts!
Now I desperately need to do some grading between classes and to do that I need to track down a second cup of coffee on campus somewhere. Before I head out, I wanted to share my treadmill workout I did yesterday.
[clickToTweet tweet=”4-3-2-1 Interval Style Treadmill Workout – and a good morning! ” quote=”It wasn’t a fast workout, but it felt great and reminded me how grateful I am for my ability to run! “] My shoulder still kind of feels sucky, but since my hiking injury a few weeks ago I was so grateful for every single step during this run I didn’t care it was at a comfortable pace. Plus, I was insanely tired yesterday, so I was proud of myself for just getting it in. Not every workout has to be balls to the wall; sometimes it’s important just to be thankful to get in an activity that you love. Here is what I did!
Alright, I’m off to track down that coffee now! Let me know what you think of this post. Do you like the real time blogging or the more structured posts, or a mixture of both?

I am in AZ too, there is never a real Spring, but I always hold out hope that maybe this will be the year. That is an adorable mug!

I know every year it seems like maybe… and then no… at least it’s been kind of cloudy!
