Hi out there, happy Tuesday! Sorry about the recent silence in posts but I’ve been working hard re-organizing the blog to launch the new design you see today (if you are using a reader click over so you can check it out!) Truthfully, I did very minimal work compared to my awesome blog designer Julie Sherman from blogger boutique. She really worked with me from set up to custom design, she was awesome. Honestly, I know nothing about blog design, it’s like a foreign language to me and I don’t have the patience to learn it. Julie set me up with awesome tutorials and set up a design that saves me time and is much more organized for my readers. I would highly recommend working with Julie if you are looking for a blog designer. So let’s catch up shall we?????
Grocery Shopping: Sprouts
This weeks grocery shopping was done in less than 30 minutes at Sprouts, I had a tentative list but really just started grabbing lots of produce to make it through the week with.
I’ve got the usual go to meals on this weeks meal plan/ideas….
Breakfast Options
– Green Chile and Cheese Breakfast Burritos
– Banana Walnut Breakfast Burritos
– Make Ahead Chia Parfaits and Quinoa Granola
– Vanilla Chia Protein Pudding (using the same base as my peach cobbler version)–> this mornings breakfast
– Protein Shakes/Bars for really quick mornings
Lunch Options
Chicken Salads, Deli Meat Salads/Sandwiches, or leftovers
Dinner Options
Usually I plan each night of the week out so I know what we will be having for dinner, but recently we haven’t been sticking to it. Truthfully, we haven’t been sticking to it for at least a month now. So instead I’m just going to have a list of at least 5 ideas so I’m prepared but have flexibility.
– Spaghetti Squash Crusted Quiche (PaleOMG) (–> made this already tonight for dinner and for tomorrows breakfast)
– Shrimp Enchilada Skillet
– Mini Personal Pita Pizzas
– Salmon or Salmon Burgers
Fitness Plans
Well these always change depending on how my lower back/right hip is doing… but tentatively…
Sunday- Swim 1 Mile
Monday- Run/ Upper Body Strength
Tuesday- Yoga
Wednesday- Run/ Upper Body Strength
Thursday- Rest
Friday- Bootcamp Style Total Body Strength Workout
Saturday- Rest or Wildcard (play by ear see how I’m feeling)
In addition to stretching, foam rolling, and icy hot rub downs 😉
