Hello Everyone I’m back! Okay not really I’m spending all day traveling but I thought I’d pop in to share my post vacation “detox” plans for the week. Don’t worry lots of wedding and honeymoon pics are coming if you aren’t super sick of my instagram yet!
After a SOLID week of indulging (can’t wait to share with you guys all the yummy Hawaiian treats I had) I’m ready to get back into my workout/healthy eating routine, especially since Thanksgiving is on Thursday! Pretty much whenever I go on vacation though I start planning my “get back on track” week the last day, I make a list of super sweaty workout to knock out and clean eats. Since this week is kind of crazy, two days of work then Thanksgiving, I think simplicity will be key, so here is what I have on the menu…

– GREEN JUICE EVERY DAY– THERE IS NO BETTER WAY TO RESET YOUR BODY
– Overnight Oatmeal (heated up since it’s finally getting colder in the AZ)
– Sweet Potatoes & Eggs
Lunch
– Grilled Chicken Salads
Dinner
Monday- Salmon and Roasted/Steamed Veggies
Tuesday- Broccoli Cheese Frittata
Wednesday- Wing It
Thursday- Thanksgiving
Friday- leftovers
Saturday- leftovers
Dessert/Snacks
– Dark Chocolate
– Chobani Nonfat Greek Yogurt
Workouts
Sunday- Travel
Monday- Coreblast
Tuesday- Run 5 Miles Plus Legs
Wednesday- Elliptical and Arms or Barbell
Thursday- Turkey Day 5K (or 10K I’m trying to change my registration)
Friday- Zumba or Elliptical & Nike Trainer
Saturday- Run
Future workout plans include re-starting crossfit and running the 12K’s of Christmas on December 14th if I can register for it in time! See you soon with honeymoon posts!
Question of the day: How do you get motivated to get back into a healthy routine after a vacation?
I always plan simple meals that don’t require a lot of cooking but that I REALLY like so I look forward to making and eating them. I also try to plan workouts I enjoy like a long run, a favorite group class, or fun circuit. Getting together with friends for a workout always helps too!
