Hello! Wow this post was suppose to go up no later than 11am today, guess that didn’t happen. Quick recap on the morning. My alarm went off at 5:30 and it was shut off and I fell back asleep till 6pm for a total of 9 hours of sleep. This wedding week totally wears you out but I know it’s all worth it. When I did get up I ate a half of a pumpkin apple quinoa bar covered in pumpkin butter.
Once I had something in my stomach I set out for a 10K run. Man it felt good to get a 10K in in under an hour for the first time ever!

4 mile- 9:46–> hello wall, ugh so hard
5 mile- 9:44
6 mile- 9:17
Total 59:13 and 9:31/mi average, thats even faster then I go on the treadmill!!!! Progress feels sooooo good.
I made it home in time to make Paul and I some veggie juice before he had to get to work.
Then after a shower I went for a quick and easy protein shake before I had to make it to an appointment. I like to put frozen strawberries in mine and munch on them when I’m done with the shake.
As most of you know I am marrying the love of my life Paul this Friday so this week is a little cray cray. Therefore I only have tentative meal and workout plans. The only thing I bought at the store was mayo, margarine, and Chobani yogurt. We are living off of whatever we have in the fridge and whatever our family feeds us! That being said here are some options for the fridge of the Hobby/Shallal almost just Shallal household.
Meal Options
Instead of breaking down by meal like a normally do, its going to be kind of a free for all depending on howe we are feeling.
– Pumpkin Apple Quinoa Bar (there is a half of one left)
– Oatmeal Packets from my bridal shower
– Eggs- Scrambled, sandwiches, breakfast quesadillas, omelet bowls
– Protein Shakes
– Turkey Sandwiches
– PB and J on Ezekiel Bread
– Chobani Yogurts and Bananas
– Quesadillas
We know from last summer that I can pretty much live on eggs and peanut butter, so I’m not worried. We’ve got plenty of veggies for green juice to last us till thursday too!
Workout Plans
Someone the soreness from my first bad crossfit workout on Thursday didn’t begin to set in until Saturday, then went full blown can’t lift my arms status on Sunday. It was pretty miserable all day Sunday, and only tonight am I starting to feel less stiff. Given that and the fact that it will be really hard to do any working out at night with family here and wedding stuff to do I decided to skip crossfit this week.
Sunday- OFF
Monday- 6.2 miles
Tuesday- Abs/ Bootcamp Style or Nike Trainer at Home Workout before work
Wednesday- Abs/ Stairmaster/ Leg Workout
Thursday- Abs/ RUN
Friday- Get Married
Saturday- Recover from Festivities
That may change but at least it is a plan, have a great Tuesday tomorrow!
